mctwistuk Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Ok so am new to this so looking for some advice. I need to collect deposits for the rolling road day so question is how do I do it? Is there a way I can get the money transferred electronically and then once it is needed have it sent to hypertech? Hopefully someone can advise best solution. Thanks Chris
little vodka goblin Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 I use Paypal to collect deposits for the xmas party etc
frenchy Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Yes but you need to tell the sender to send the payment as a gift then no charges are applied.
badbaz Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Do you use digital banking? If you accept a lot of gift payments paypal may click and stop you. You can ensure you receive the correct amount by telling the sender to ensure they pay the fees so you receive the correct amount. Some will still send you the wrong amount though - good luck
g1983 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 i use digital banking yes why? Chris I think Barry is suggesting you get all participants to send you the payments as your organising then you can send the final payment.
cullenmin Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Paypal is probably the best option, sent as a gift, thats what i would use
badbaz Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 If folk also use digital banking then get them to send you it that way - no charges and no balls ups

patsy Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Your bank account details and I could just pay it straight into your account? Via digital banking or whatever. My Paypal account is feckd as I have spent over a certain limit and it needs verified with a credit card (ithink), which I don't have. Ryan
