marky.t.s Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Why is it,no matter where or how far away from the supermarket (Cumbernauld Asda) entrance you park, there's always one total fud who parks next to you? Subaru's must have a hidden bawbag magnet that, nearly after 7 years of ownership,I have yet to find the 'off' switch!!!!!!!
scouk Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Buy yourself a set of traffic cones and stick them in the spaces next to you when you park up

I park far from the entrances when at Tescos etc (ding fear), sure enough when ye return there is always one.
monsterenergy Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I always park dead centre on the white line - taking up 2 spaces. I always try to do this up the back of the car park but if the car park's full, I do it anyway and just park like a douchebag! Although - at Christmas, I did this and was in the supermarket for ages, when I came back there was a whole line of cars beside me all parked centred on the white line!
Hightower Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 it seems to happen to all nice cars, i park well away from everyone if i take the scoob to a supermarket but a few months ago the car park was dead i parked and came back to find a newish BMW next to me WTF? there were spaces everywhere. while i was loading up the boot he came back so i thought sod it and i asked him why he parked next to me when there were double/triple spaces everywhere so no one would have been near him... his reply... Park next to a mint car and the chances are they will want to keep it mint so will take care getting in and out so will not door bash his car.... fair point. i just think it was so they can have a good look at the cars without making it obvious!
jebus82 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 when im up tesco cumbernauld or any car park for that matter i take 2 spaces, stops the clueless fuds from being able to park next to you!! OR alternatively get yourself a child and park in the parent and child spaces, loads of room in there!!
kennyuk300 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I agree with Hightower Mark ,why risk parking your car somewhere other than " Next to that shiny scoob" Less chance of us hitting there car as that is why we are there in that space in the first place ....Anyway i usually have my 5 year old and 14 week old (for now ) Kids = Parent and child
big_fleety Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Buy yourself a set of traffic cones and stick them in the spaces next to you when you park up :laughing4: :laughing4: awesome idea lol
StrikE Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Happens all the time usually with a retard driving the clapped out Ford Mondeo with more scratches on it than a record used as a Frisbee! I keep the kids booster seats in the car all the time now & NEVER park in a normal spot. I even drove to Livingstone, couldn't find a parent & child so drove away. Idiots
scooby222 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 hey i bought that mondeo just to put follow you around and put dents in your car
marky.t.s Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Lol! I forgot to come back to this! Anyway, there was no damage done as the 'fud' that was parked next to me was in a GB270, and I returned to find SIDC flyers littering my car!!!!!!!! Phil, you are that 'car park tosser' get it up ye ya mad bam!
johnmacdonald Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Thought it only happened to us. As an example, we often use the Cambridge park and ride at Trumpington and always park just as we enter the massive car park. Very few cars there, as it's the longest walk to the bus. Almost always, on our return, somebody has parked right next to the WRX and often it's a tatty 4x4 of some description! Masses of empty bays all around.

scoobysp Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Car parks and scoobies don`t mix - one of my pet hates is what I have called lonely car syndrome. Like everybody else I park miles away from every other car only to find someone has parked right next to me just because their car gets lonely when they leave it. I only had my scooby for 2 days before it got its first dent - thin metal doesn`t help much. The worst scenario is coming back to your car as the four kids and messages are getting loaded into the heap thats now 2" away from your cherished scooby
scouk Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) Question for ya...When heading into a car park and there's a lonesome scoob.. I tend to park next to it, with comfortable space.. Is this wrong? Edited January 8, 2012 by ScoUK
scoobysp Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 No - scooby brothers must stick together when it comes to parking...
davey l wrx Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 It's also allowed if your going to cover the other scooby in SIDC flyers!!
