colin_ross Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Just had my first look at the new site on my mobile and I have to say it looks great. It's a cut down version but everything you need is there and I'd rather have it look at bit basic rather than take 3 minutes to load a page. Well done guys.

badbaz Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Yip, I like it too. Only thing i think its missing (or I havent found yet) is the "new content" feature? On the dark blue bar at the top of the page which has SIDC Forums there is a grey box to the right hand side with what looks like quote marks " (it's not that clear on mine) Press that and then there is a list of options, New Content being one of them
patsy Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I agree, the mobile version is good and seems a wee bit faster to navigate. Enjoying...
mystery machine Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Ah, shucks - when I read the thread title I thought that Grant and Imy were going to be doing the rounds in a big gallus SIDC van... fishmonger's horn and everything
andy Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 How do I find this You don't "find it" as such. If you're on a mobile device, the software detects that (Gawd knows how) and applies a lightweight, less bandwidth-intensive skin so the pages load faster and look better on a small screen.
notsosmall Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I like it too, takes a little getting used to but loads very quickly and looks good
