One less Catalunya, thanks mr farmer.

Well there's one less Catalunya about now, number 20 has met it's demise.

In the guise of a green john deere combine harvester, my side of the road, no escort vehicle...farmer stated he should have had one and normally did. I tried to climb up the embankment, but the wheels would have went right over the rear where my two and four year old daughters were sitting, so had to be the rear wheel and hope it didn't go over car, and if it did just pray it stopped on me and not my kids.

kids are ok except for burn and bruise where the belt marked her, wife's still in hosp.

Dull one. Could have been alot more nasty by the looks of things. Glad everyone is okay though. You'll all be rather shaken up after that one!

Bloody hell!

At least you are (mostly) ok, as always cars can be replaced, people cannot.

I sympathise with you as I met one last night, more lights than a UFO shining all over the shop and taking up more than his share of the road. More luck than judgement avoided a similar fate.

Hope you all recover soon.

yer, I'm sore but otherwise ok...apart from being in one hell of rager of a mood.

I'd actually stopped the car, and attempted top get up the embankment, but the verge was to high to get the scoob to climb up from a stop

kids seem ok, news from hospital isn't very bright they're sending my mrs for CT Scan suspected a fracture in her neck bone somewhere.

Holy crap! Mate I really hope that your wife is OK, and I'm glad to hear that you and your kids are!

Crap about the car though, and I hope that they nail the farmer to the wall, it was serious enough this time, but it could very easily have been fatal... Hope you get into another scooby soon mate.

Glad you are ok mate, looks a sore one. It is a shame about the car but the main thing is that you are all ok.

Lights? An alien feature to the farmers down my way. Twice met a tractor in the dark in the last 2 weeks with no lights whatsoever.

bit of an update, Katy's home from hosp, got a ct scan and it came up clear, she's bruised her spine, whatever that means. (shes home that's all that matters)

Farmer is screwed he's broke so many laws from not displaying a valid tax disc to travelling a distance between sites greater than 1.5km as legally allowed to with nill duty tax (which he hadn't bothered with since 2006................would have been interesting if the scoob wasn't taxed the outcome difference then.)

Already looking at a Terzo

gutted for you mate, mustve been terrifying! at least everyones pretty much ok,

dont let the insurance muck you about, you need to get out there scob shopping to cheer yourself up!! also id look at a personal injury claim for the missus, i know how these things can develop and get worse over time - still waiting on mine to be sorte out after almost 2 years!

Glad the family is ok, but i rekon you should hold out for the right money m8 for the Catalunya as they are trading for £4000+ just make sure the insurance company knows this
