Well as a some of you already know I've had my eye on a certain car for a wee while now. Today I finally got my filthy mits on it! I did enjoy my uk turbo 2000 but it was only ever a stop gap until I found another type r or type ra. It will be staying standard(ish) for now but I do have a few parts up my sleeve/in the cupboard to be fitted in the future.

Here's some piccies.

Just want to also say a massive thanks to Wuz for having it road ready before departure and also to thank duncATR for keeping him awake/helping out. I'm delighted with the car and I've only driven it home!!

looks cracking perfect wheels the revolutions for a classic

whats the full spec bud?

Its standard of course! To give it it's full sunday name it's a WRX STi Type RA V-Limited, Bob for short. :)

Seriously though, its nearly standard. Currently running a VF28, walbro pump, 7B plugs, induction kit and a prodrive exhaust system. As you see it has 18" Relolution Milleniums shod with Toyo Proxes. Standard STi Suspension and some chunky brakes!

very nice m8, whats that hiding in the garage ???

Its the pervious owner of my cars current car. In that photo its running 0cc, 0psi and 0bhp. :P

Thanks for the nice comments fellas and yes I agree, the Milleniums are the only wheel for me on a classic.

Happy now?

It'll do for now... haha, those ???'s will have to disappear at some point though. :P

6.5/10, I awarded an extra 0.5 for adopting a list style, like me. :)

Cheers,

Grant

I notice yours changed too I actually deleted a similar one.

The ???'s will disappear, all in good time, all in good in time  Just need to get it on some rollers. Then I can start throwing some bits on it to see the difference they make. Then some exterior mods.

Thanks Gus, i've heard you are a fan of the milleniums/ST2's :)

thats just awesome mate, i can just imagine the grin youve got... looks like il have to work extra hard to keep ahead on the fling next year!!!

Yes Dave, your gonna have to bring your "A game" to the fling next year! Power may be up by then and this time I will have a far more capable brake set up. The talent bag however will still be tiny hahaha

Yeah, the mirrors are going back to the original owner but I think I will get replacement ones. Whether they are carbon or GRP, I've still to decide

Looking good Lewis :)

Thanks Pete B)

Looking awesome mate :P

Worth the wait i recon, now get that ECU fitted and mapped :D

Yeah, definitely worth the wait Ciaran, I'm probably gonna hold off on the mods and just enjoy it as is. I got a pm from the original owner of the current engine saying it had been rr'd at 311/278 and it feels every bit like that. I'm content with it for now but might get bored... ;)

Cracking car .. well so i'm lead to believe

I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Oh aye .. and nice brakes B)

Have fun !

Thanks Frank, I intend to!

Very nice Lewis, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

You'll be fair tricket!! :D
