Hey Patsy, damage not too bad at all the joys with bodykit i guess and big holes, car will be collected tommorow night all finished exellent Job from Steve in Bathgate once again, also car booked in to Extreme Motorsport for a high boost power run without NOS so looking forward to Wednesday after the last session with a loose wire on No 3 injector took up most of my time fault checking.. then again booked with Andy F on the 12th for High Boost + NOS .. still to change tyres and put slicks on for Crail will get done over the next couple of days then to finish of the car is the last of the alliminium floor pannels and door cards and there ends another chapter.. I'll be in a blue blobeye with white wheels & white WRT swoosh on fog covers (P3 reg number) Well not the reuslts I was expecting today still misfiring at the 6,900 rpm so high boost never happened runs perfect at low boost 1.75,will run low boost for crail the possibly needs and aplifier as the spark may be getting blown out will have this sorted for the 12th with Andy f the joys I can live with 620 bhp at low boost for the time being lol Link to comment

Running new shape coil packs of an 05 Sti, have spoken to Andy f reckon it's needs a second fuel pump as the one on it may be maxing out change plugs coil packs crank sensor so next is possibly put 2 fuel pump opened to ideas think the fuel pump is the problem new pump on order Link to comment

braveheart Posted September 30, 2010 Author Share Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) Well not updated this for a while posted the other day I was down at Andy F for a tweak on the map.. And was still misfiring at around the 6900 revs also was maxing the fuel pump out so next steps is another 0.44 fuel pump and a new fuel line. The two pumps will run parallel with the other and will have the 2 pumps feeding into one swirl pot there will be no change to the fuel return, I will also be changing the plugs to Racing 8 at 200 quid a pop hopefully this will rectify the misfire , some big builds can run the 7bs however chatting to some of the big builds down south I need to run 8s these, thanks to Steven Darley for his advice on thease issues. This will all be sorted for my remap for the 20th Oct with Andy F and hopefully I will get the high boost map done with no issues and a bit of Nos to help it along fingers crossed.. On my last Dyno day at Extreme it showed 650 and then John took some figures off it and came up with 619 that was only at 1.75 at 6900rpm also the Rev limiter is Set too 8000, the tourque was a bit poor so all in all looking to run it at leat 2.0 bar off boost and watch the tourque increase alot Andy could not ajust the tourque due to the misfire so there is alot more to see with this car and all the figures are without NOS...
