Richie Cross Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) Hi folks, A wee while ago I posted up about going for a new wheel colour and if I should got with paint or powder coating. In the end I went to speak with Jim Biggam at JB Coachworks 54 Well St Paisley 0141 842 1465 Jim has done some top notch work for me in the past and the choice of paint colours was endless. I knew I wanted the wheels darker than standard so we ended up with an Alfa Romeo colour. Here are the obligatory pics Before: standard wheels After: And yes, I haven't changed the date/time on my camera Edited April 11, 2010 by Richie Cross

Richie Cross Posted April 12, 2010 Author Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) They look mint mate! don't spose you know the paint code do you? I don't mate, sorry. I'm sure I could find out though. Thought the colour was a Gisalo something but looking at Alfa cods on t'internet, I can't see that Looks much better! How much were they to get done if you don't mind me asking? Cheers, Rab £240 cash. Might seem a lot but I thought about paying something like £40 a wheel for powder coating and thought the extra was worth it. Knew I wouldn't be getting a quick one coat from Jim. They look good I had mine powder coated gloss black and love how they look against the silver It does look good, doesn't it Looking braw Richie just need to lower it now Mmm, you may have a point there Gus!!! More mods!!! looks superb Richie,i didnt realise how low your wagon sits at the front!.....you must get a few scary,'will i still have a front splitter' moments then. Coilovers obviously helped but the splitter fills the gap nicely . Just plan ahead for any journeys!!! Did have an issue when I first put it on with The Boss saying, 'If I want to go to Braehead (ie multi storey) then I'll go!!!!' Thankfully that hasn't happened. It's been scraped a few times but a coating of silicone spray brings it back nicely. HT Autos £99 Just need to get some anodised wheel nuts to finish off I think.
