Richie Cross Posted March 12, 2010 Share Posted March 12, 2010 Hi folks, Well, after recently weighing up the options of powder coating vs painting, my wheels will be getting painted in the next few weeks. As the car is crystal grey, I had only really thought of something a few shades darker...like anthracite etc. So, I'm putting it out to the forum for any other suggestions/personal experiences? Black too dark? Here's a photo if someone could possible do a photoshop job? The photo is pre coilovers so excuse the ride height and I've also now got a black front splitter so there's more black to complement another colour etc. Cheers Link to comment

I don't know what kind of colour range you get with the powder coated ones but that's the good thing about getting them painted. I have the full spectrum etc to choose from. Think I'd stick to the one colour as I don't have anything else to of another colour to co-ordinate with. Link to comment

That's the trouble with the different shades. Looking at the pictures already, I would've said they are anthracite/gun metal? Is there much difference?
