I've just had to dig into the the deep and murky depths of my understairs cupboard to find these - excuse the quality of the pics but they are 22 years old:

No chance that I'll be posting a picture of my younger self :P

My first car was a Y reg 950cc Ford Fiesta Popular Plus! Used to be my mums car and was donated as a shared car between the 3 kids although as my bro and sis were students, and I was working, I got the most use out of it!

First car of my own was a Ford Escort 1.3i Ghia on a C plate, also inherited from my mum, but this time I paid £1000 for it. Reason I bought it, best value for money :brickwall:

You guessed it! Right around the time of Jilted Generation, even had a furry mammoth fleece that I used to wear as well...

There's worse photos, like the checkerboard hair, the star, the errr, mullet and I even had a mohawk at one stage but those photos are WELL hidden! :brickwall:

My first car was a Morris Marina Coupe that my Mum bought for me. I loved that car though i did have to rebuild the engine to stop it drinking a gallon of oil every 100 miles.

Wrote it off twice first time someone ploughed into the back of me, one of those i saw it was going to happen in the rear view about 20 seconds before it did and had plenty of time to get scared.

Second time, going for a bit of a play down the lanes near home where there was a slight bump in the road that if you hit it at about 75 you went airborne. Suffice to say such a game, in a single track usually empty lane, doesnt go well when the once in a blue moon car coming the other way occurs!

Mines was a Mk1 Cavalier 1600, Green. Great fast car when I was 17. I never really knew much about cars at that time so driving about with the oil light on for a few weeks gave the engine its last rights.

Still loved it though.

MY first car and i saved up 3 months wedges from Asders to buy it was a MK2 Golf 1.3 carb, full GTi bodykit, TSW multispoke wheels, lowered, all round tits, Tornado Red, 3 slat grill ect ect.

I loved that car, but sold it on to buy my Bmw E36 2.5 24v 4door saloon, with the facelift 18" Alpina alloys and lowered.

My first car was a 1984 BMW 318i.. Paid £1600 for it and drove if for about 4 months until someone from Brize Norton hit me from behind causing £600 of damage..

... with the damage to the back end I part exchanged it for a Fiesta XR2 after the garage gave me £1600 Trade in, few days later the insurance coughed up a cheque for £600 so out of that I managed to make £600 on the car

lovely little faded green Austin A35 for 40 quid - lasted a year, but was running bad at the end, 20 odd mpg on 5 star and 200 odd on oil

then A40 for £65 - off to halfords for a can of matt black paint for the bonnet & I thought I was the dogs.

Retired that for a brand new vauxhall magnum 1800 on an N plate for a massive £1450.
