little vodka goblin Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 Rich at Redline asked me what sort of power are the cars hoping for on the rollers? Tbh mate I personally don't have a clue what the others are running at but mine will be pretty standard "ish" WRX with PPP and Nige's R is running somewhere around the 330 mark.
STI Mav Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 I'll provisionally add myself and a mate to this list, but to be honest it will be dependant on whether the Scooby City rolling road day on the 13th March goes ahead or not. If it dosen't we will definatly be along to this one. Sounds like a bit of a cop out I know but we've already paid upfront for the above event - so I can't really blow it off now...... 1. tony_eldridge Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) At this rate i'll still have my scoob so this is still a go for me. Regarding power figure, God knows! Standard 265. But having said that, she's beaten PPP'd STi's on the strip without too much effort so i'll hazard a guess around 280-90bhp. One way to find out for sure Edit: Just found this. 1/4 mile times for a PPP '03 car on the strip. And my best time so far (and i'm by no means a professional race driver): 13.6 Edited February 19, 2010 by Ace

Just think how much of a bonus it will be when your can show the new owner recent data sheets showing your correct BHP
little vodka goblin Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 Hi guys, Just a quick update, we've been over to Zen again today and Paul has some guys lined up as well so we should have a minimum of 15 cars on the rollers. We're looking at getting over there for 9 am so that we can all get sorted and the first car running for about 9.30 am. Any questions please don't hesitate to give me a shout. Cheers, Rach

little vodka goblin Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 Can we arrange a convoy from Bedford? Yes a convoy will be arranged from Bedford, collecting any others who want to join us along the way. I'm thinking of meeting in Bedford around 7.45 am and then going onto the McDonalds at Wellingborough for 8.30am so we can grab a cuppa before a 5 minute blast down the dual carriageway to Zen. Obviously, these are only rough times and if anyone else wants to meet up please let me know and I'll adapt route/times to suit. Cheers, Rach

stevehf2 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Hiya,Things will be starting at Zen from 9 a.m - what sort of time do you think you'd be able to make it? Rach About 11-12pm as I'm coming from Essex. Will the guys from Zen be able to tweek or solve any issues while I'm there? I'm not sure if i'm a little under on boost or not as i'm not sure if my gauge is reading correct! I had it on dyno at Torque dev in Essex and they said it was 0.9 but my gauge shows 0.75!
Phildodd06 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Hi, i'm new to the forums, but is it ok if i get my V5 Type-R on the rollers? I'm from Coventry so not far for me to travel...

Hiya, 11-12 should be fine, I'll be sorting out times on the rollers over the weekend/early part of next week so I'll get you on around midday if you want. Paul is now a "one man band" so to speak so i can't say for definate whether he'll be able to help you out on the day but I need to speak to him over the next couple of days so I'll let you know. Hope this helps, Rach
