stuarted Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Top day out and well done to Chris for organising the Skyline boys who were all a laugh. Unfortunately i missed all the cars on the journey up due to staying awake issues! Definite 10 sec run to come in Colin's car, will remove my tube of pringles and bottles of water from the back next time mate!
Maxxed_Ross Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 well I can't really add much to what's been said already! Top day out, top company and great fun all round The highlight of my day was beating the black Skyline to the half way mark... and then getting obliterated My top 3 times were: RT 0.4, 103.0 mph, 14.061 (in the rain I may add!) RT 0.4, 101.6 mph, 13.906 (in the damp) RT 0.3, 102.3 mph, 13.873 (my fastest of the day!) I even managed an RT of 0.117 on one of the last runs! Consistantly in the 14's on the other 12 runs, so I'm very very happy Oh and big Kudos to Kenny for almost wiping out that daft of lady on the way out of Crail... I've never seen driving quite like it Doing 20 mph in a 60 then deciding to drive in the middle of the road just as you go to overtake her! Some very quick thinking and good brakes saved that from being very nasty Then when I got past her she drove up my a*** like I had done something wrong!
cullenmin Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Had a good day out, spoke to a few of you guys. Excellent turn out of scoobies, thanks for organising this. I beat my personal best so I'm happy 12.99 Some pics... Rich

uRaBu5 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Had a fantastic day, first time at Crail and it was a cracker. Good run up with BobbyC and Ross, thanks for the company and the directions, don’t think I would have got there without you. Huge thanks to Chris for organising such a great event – and hope you get WL sorted, felt for you big style. Big pat on the back for Matt, coming up from Wales – that’s mates for you! Great to catch up with so many old and new faces and look forward to the next time. Did miss my trusty old co-pilot on the day – RIP big fella. Derek
TrackScotland Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Here are the times vs the white 575bhp (at the wheels) R35 GTR SCOTT BUCHAAN - R35 GTR 11.290 sec 0.332 sec 2.005 sec 127.8 mph Left lane ADAM KINDNESS - R32 GTR 11.028 sec 0.367 sec 1.682 sec 130.1 mph Right lane 2nd place..... VERY close!! JOHN HAINTON - R35 GTR 11.053 sec 0.521 sec 1.871 sec 128.9 mph Right lane 3rd (i think) COLIN ROSS - Impreza 11.199 sec 0.767 sec 1.772 sec 128.6 mph Left lane
professor Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 well done adam i think you will find scot's car is 574bhp@flywheel not the wheels
TrackScotland Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 professor - it cant be!!! Its about 300+kg heavier than mine and we are running just shy of 570bhp at the flywheel. Must be the mountain of torque it has! (think it was the chap with the Black R35 GTR that told me they were both around 570 at the wheels)
RA Dunk Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Did it have any mods fitted when it was mapped? 570 ATW from a standard car is a bit high isnt it?
