Joe G Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 Well the scoob has managed to chew through its 2nd pair of rear shocks!! Only covered 4500miles on these rear shocks and the knocking has started again. Thats me decided now No More Chocolate shocks!!!! Going for a set of BC coilovers I think. Has anyone got these fitted and what is the ride quality like? Cheers Joe
P1_Paul Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 I'm going to fit these to my Spec C hopefully next week. Is your Spec C a bugeye?

P1_Paul Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) Just had the inverted BC's(6/5) fitted today, if I didn't tell you I had coilovers fitted you'd never know. I've set them to setting 2 out of 30 and it's equal to if not a little softer than stock Spec C suspension, I'll play about with them after the geom is done. The stock ride height was 67cm from the arch to the ground, I had it lowered 10mm all round, looks really good. Best of all, no knock knock knock! Edited July 9, 2009 by P1_Paul
Joe G Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 Cheers paul, Gonna strip my standard shocks down shortly and regrease them to see what happens!! Failing that then i'll be going for the BC's. Cant be doing with knocking shocks anymore lol!!
simon_gibson Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 The shocks are shocking on these. (Sorry couldn't resist it )
Joe G Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 anyone tried re-greasing their shocks yet?? Might give it a go at the weekend!!
