Hi,

Can anyone recommend any companies/ sole traders who fabricate full stainless exhaust systems (incl. manifold) - Also custom made is a must!

Cheers

Ive had every exhaust done at C&C and they are brilliant. When it came to MOT time they swapped the cat back in for free, and swapped it back after. You cant beat service like that!

Thanks guys, Looking to get the both of the cars done, nice and fresh.

Unfortunately staying away from Calder motors as heard and known a few bad things about them...and also know they can be pretty pricey for the standard of work, but thanks for suggesting it. :hello:

Will look into the other 2 and see what they can come up with!

Have any of seen or have pictures of a newage with twin exhaust ( 1 at either side) full stainless system? Looking for that on the MY03.

Also getting a similar system to the new 2008 sti exhaust system on the MY08.

Thanks.

Hi Kaylz

Iv'e used C & C, meercat & stainless creations in Falkirk in the past & can reccommend them all, Stainless creations are in the wee industrial estate along from Soverigns furniture store, but I would speak to Gus the Bus before diving into anything

Looks dreadful unless you start faffing with the bumpers and isn't functional in the slightest.

Will be cutting bumpers on both cars.

....shall we say embarking on a "chop shop" project shortly. Any of you guys watch chop shop?

If you speak nicely to C+C (who do excellent regular work) they'll build you something particularly chavvy. I saw a Corsa with 4 backboxes they did. Lovely :hello:

Yeah, will look great with a pearl paint job and Lambo style doors, could also throw in one of those melodic horns as well!

IMHO, the exhaust is best left as it is, just as St3phen stays.

You haven't even seen the exhaust on my new hatchback that's not really valid - in my honest opinion...

I'm sure you'd know all about the "chavvy" look :hello:

Well you posted pictures if it only one month ago, so we've all seen it... Fair enough, changing the Hatch, as that's what the STi has anyway. But I'm fairly certain that John was more referring to changing the layout of the newage... His opinion is very much valid.

Each to their own guys. I had a duplex exhaust on one of my cars a long time ago (2 litre 16v megane coupe). Its not effective, but it was done for style.

Different strokes for different folks and all that
