Typer666 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Hi, looking for some advice. I have kerbed my drivers side alloy wheel ( due to an idiot undercutting me and nearly taking me out). I am from the Hamilton area and am looking to see if anyone can recommend a refurb place with rough prices ( if fixable). Alloys are 18'' GT1's from a new shape WRX-S. Obviously this will be difficult as you cannot see the damage. Thanks in advance.
paul555sti Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I think Gmac got a a good deal for sidc members from these guys. http://www.chameleoncoating.co.uk/Home.html
sparky_sj04 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Also used Chameleon in Renfrew for my mates GTI wheels and they did a great job, good as new. Should still be an SIDC discount as well. When they were done it was £160 total for re-con and powder coating, plus tyres and balancing etc.
G.Mac Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 The prices have gone up a little from what was stated in the stickied post, I PM'd the details through to Andy ages ago as I cannot edit my post as it has been closed. I cant remember the new prices as the forum does not automaticaly save youe sent pm's but they should still be competative and everyones wheels that I have seen done there have come out well Graeme
empty_heed Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 yip i used chameon too, they have a great service
StewartyBoy Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I live round the corner from Chameleon, and regularly have used them. They offer a great service, and will give the car a mini-valet if your leaving it with them.
