jimser Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 good day today, lots of different variants belting round the track.everything from rover 214's to mk1 escorts to single seaters.can certainly see the attraction of entering and well if the entry date came a couple of weeks later i'd maybe have a go myself, always next year though. not many cars can beat john's time round there and the ones that can are running mental power /weight. well done to jac on his first outing and also don in the evo,if thats a standard evo IV then i'm not sure why we're all buying scoobs

jimser Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 AFAIK you can still enter single venues for some fun time didn't realise that, asked someone today but was told that it was too late
JohnSt Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 All events can be entered on an ad-hoc basis. In the central belt you will get an entry, some of the venues surrounding Aberdeen you may struggle.

jac Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 What a fun day Kames track is amazing and rewording, the people are friendly very helpful and make you feel welcome. More of us should give it a go as Dom has proved you don't need a powerful car to be competitive. Nice driving mate. Thanks for all the pic's and kind words. Jac

st3ph3n Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Stephen did your mate get the Bogey running ok for today? He had a pant wetting moment on the sat but survived and still made the finish with a good time lol JohnST styleee mon the evil evo He got 3rd on Saturday and 2nd yesterday which I think in the end he was happy enough with. It was only really it's second real outing this weekend. The car is still down on revs with an electronics issue so hopefully we can get that solved. He beat his times from last year in the fireblade so that's always a good sign of things to come. He got his spin on video too so I'll post it up at some point.
JohnSt Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 i will have to get a decent helmet with a visor S'funny, last time I looked there was a visor in there ---john---
