westtra Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) Well after being gutted on tuesday when I went to pick up my Impreza to find out the ECU had fried it's self just before I got there and ending up coming back up the road in a Diesel forrester which was very nice to drive. Mine got delivered this morning after having a new ECU installed(£1200 so thank god I never had to pay for it) and I've got a sore face from grinning. It's a 56 plate Silver Hawkeye STi with 7k on the clock. Will get pics up at some point. So big thank you to Gavin at Ian grieves for sorting me out and also giving me his own car to get my self back up the road. Finally got pics Edited April 12, 2009 by Westtra

We still don't know what SCoobyDOom is getting his hands on.. He's giving nothing away (& I've tried).. I have a feeling it 'may' be a classic.. But we'll see.. Edited April 9, 2009 by ScoUK
cullenmin Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 feeling the call of the newage then Rich? Well I am glad I didnt buy a hawkeye last year because all the prices dropped and I would have lost a good few grand. I'll be sticking with the trusty classic until a White Spec C hawkeye lures me in MON the Classics

scoobyseller555 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 If you'd been out for a "demonstration" drive with Gavin you wouldn't be so confused!!!!...... Note to myself 'These 20mph test drives must stop' Unfortunately i never had a shot of Mark's car(or Fortunately)very strange this one though, maf fault code on select monitor, replaced maf but fault code couldn't be removed and cel light wouldn't go out, fault within ecu,new ecu fitted aswell as maf and problem solved.... weird but now fixed and hopefully after several hours of ownership a big being back in a scoob. Gav
