My First Scoobie!

Hi,

I was looking to get an evo 6 but seen this on friday night and bought it the next morning.Im well happy with it.

My last cars were a mr2 turbo and gt4 so not to clued up on how good the spec is,perhaps you guys can.Hope to get to some track days soon

thanks for the welcome,the bike rack didnt come with the car,but I did genuine dog gard and boot liner!.I like the idea of having the practicality and the speed all in one.

I almost did but got this for a fair price (alot cheaper than an evo 6) so Im in the wifes good books.

Its a nice car and like you say its practicle and fast aswell! Good choice! :D

Now some questions,

The car had an EcuTek dual boost re map,now when the last owner took me out in it he pressed the rear window heater button twice to switch from hi-low boost.Is this quite common to use that switch for boost control?

Nice spec to match you should have about 320bhp with that spec. :D

Andy F maps the high/low boost setting controlled by the rear window heater as part of his maps so yes this is common mate. :D

I am pretty sure it was with your foot on the accelerator you pressed the button twice but its been a couple of years since i sold it .

100% power and press it twice & you should feel her sit down or pick up depending on what setting shes in the now. :D

Put her into high mate & just leave her there. :D;)

Iv not got my insurance sorted out so I have not had a real chance to test,but when he the previous owner took me out the difference was unreal.I think its .7bar on the low setting and 1.4 on high.Its good though because the data monitor tells me everything I need to know.
