I've just noticed this while out shopping-

S6001025-1.jpg

I have been offshore for the past 2 weeks and got back yesterday afternoon, I had the car parked in a hotel car park in Dyce which I have used for over a year with no problems. The car park isnt the safest in the world but I had a quick look round the car when I picked it up but didnt see any damage but the n/s wing was the only place I never really inspected!

It looks pretty fresh as theres only a tiny amount of surface rust but no other marks, i.e. footprints of scratches. Luckily the bonnet is undamaged.

It was parked at the end of a row of spaces with the damaged side out in the open, I've called the hotel but they were useless.

So, where's the best place to get it sorted??

An unhappy Col.

Its a strange place to have a dent, it looks like something pretty heavy has dropped on it rather than been another vehicle.

Dont really want to go through insurance although my no claims is proctected, apart from the stealers where coud I purchase a genuine front wing?

ouchy, rotten timing just before Xmas.

Try Ian Ross in Luncarty (just outside Perth 1st turning off the A9 as you head North from the Inveralmond roundabout).

If you can speak to Ian himself, let him know you're looking for a top job. He's pretty good price wise too.

Ouch. Sorry to see that Col.

Must be the weather for the windie lickers out damaging cars - see link below for our experience earlier today in the Tesco carpark.

Thats a shocker Andy! How somebody can do that and walk away is unbelievable. I was in Tesco too when I noticed mine but had obviously been done somewhere else.

Acid,

Yeah I used to use the Airpark but the company wouldnt pay for it, guess where I am going next time!

Sorry to see that mate!

The guy mentioned by Christian is Richard Deas, PM me if you want his number. The guy that owns the building he works from is a bit funny about folks just rolling up (he's currently looking for new premises with a more amiable landlord!). Does a top job, got mine going to him in the new year for a respray and the missus Vectra for rear arches.
