  1. try here Linky Not sure if they repair the iPhone though but must be worth a phone call. They used to have a drop in centre however have never used them for personal handsets, only business stuff.
  2. The news you have been waiting for. It was announced to the stock market today so I can add the link... sales begin early 2010 on both the 3G and 3GS.. Vodafone link...
  3. What version of Firmware is on it? is it 6.1?
  4. It's Unlikely that Vodafone will sell the 3GS in the UK just yet.. As for the Touch Pro 2 it will come with a Windows mobile 6.5 upgrade from the 6th October. 6.5 has much more interactive user interface with finger touch "Gestures and Navigation ". It looks like it's built for Web experience more than anything else. It also comes with "Windows market place " which you can pretty much substitute for the Apps store on Apple. 6.5 is being seen as the big attack on apple.... the Apps stores content will decide which one to go for. To top it all of there is a new BB Storm coming as well.....
  5. Must admit I have tried every phone bar the iphone but only cause i cant get it free on Vodafone. Still mainly using Blackberry with the Storm and 8900. Research in motion have now launched their own apps store. Nowhere near as good as the Apple version however it shows that Apps mixed with content seems to be the way to go these days. Blackberry Apps Store? strange that Vodafone has recently launched it's own Apps store and O2's UK exclusive deal finishes end of July this year... Vodafone Apps Store
  6. Tricky website to Navigate - Huge respect for Alan NcNish though... a proper race car Driver.
  7. Hello and Welcome Shelly Pictures of the new motor are always nice.......
  8. How many people actually look at the CD's in the box though....... Most blokes like me just through it in the bin and try to work out the device for ourselves..
  9. I know just how much people like their gadgets on this forum, especially phones and camera's... Vodafone have posted the new device firmware for Blackberry devices on the web. It contains all the files required to Flash the devices with the upgraded version's. Some of the 8100 and 8300 devices can be upgraded to the new Firmware tha ships in the Storm and Bold. I notice there is a new Storm update as well, I think someone on here has one of these devices if I remember correctly. It's easy enough to flash the new firmware, just download the desktop manager software, download the Flash file and plug in the Handset into the USB. Blackberry software Downloads Cheers Christian
  10. Most people can see the funny side of this though...... when was the last time a Public sector employee lost ther Job Though????? Given the current climate anyone that pays there taxes is intitled to laugh ......

  13. Kev, I just had all that work done last year by Grant at AWD. All the engine gaskets and seals were replaced. The sump looked a bit porous bit it still seems ok. My car is a UK98 as well.... the rocker gasket had a slight leak on the left hand side and the oil just collects on the exhaust manifold creating the burning smell and smoke out the bonnet scope. Easily rectified though.. I'll dig out the reciepts as all the part numbers are listed. You could maybe give them a bell at AWD as well as they supplied the parts. Not sure if there was much of a price difference between them and the main stealers prices..

  16. There's a bloke based in Pitcairngreen that does a lot of cars for Grant and Andy at AWD. Give them a bell for the details.... I need to get my bonnet resprayed after some git keyed it last month so let me know where you get the car done.. if it's a good job Cheers Christian
  17. As Stephen says you get nothing for free. I would also stay clear of any deals offering cash back as well. It will take you months to get anything back. One thing to bear in mind is if you buy through a dealer the you have to suffer their customer services to deal with the billing questions etc. Some times it pays to go direct to save the hassle, direct is usually going into the network branded shops... If your not a big phone user or serial texter then just get a good PAYT phone. pay £40 quid or so and top it up when you need to. If you want a new flashy phone then it's best over an 18 month contract. Generally if you pay for the handset up front you can save more money over the term. £100 will cost around £160 over 18 months.you dont have to take the phone for free. Lots of people are moving away from texting now to email, you can use a Blackberry or Windows mobile phone for around a fixed rate of £5 per month plus call package @ £15. Email as many people as you want for a fraction the cost of text. And unless your looking for a Wii or PS3 stay away from the deals... Cheers Christian
  18. Very Nice, like that a lot...... Just wish they would add Subaru to our company car list as that would be exactly what I would order It's gonna take some cleaning and polishing...... Great wee drive up through the sma' glen from Creiff though. Must take a run through there this weekend...
  19. The dealer reference manual is available on the web link below courtesy of the Rb5 owners club. I have an original WR Sport from Prodrive and I can recognise all the parts individually fitted to the car. WR Sport dealer reference Maual 1999 - 2000 From the info I received from Prodrive you could basically buy the PPP pack for the car seperatley from a dealer however only prodrive fitted all 4 packs together at the factory and called it the WR Sport and gave it WR Sport badging / clocks etc. You can see some pic's of mine in the for sale section and compare the setup for the packs. WR Sport for sale
  20. Shell Garage in Blair per chance I'm sure i've seen the car there sometimes, I'm in every week to fill up the Volvo...
  21. The Joys of living in Alyth... nothing is on your doorstep.. Ask Andy or Grant down at AWD what he does to get a car through an MOT. I'm sure he puts a centre section CAT on to pass the MOT. Worth asking....
  22. My UK Impreza is still available if you fancy the trip to Edinburgh. It's a pretty rare UK Model that Prodrive modified from the factory. It's completely original as well as produces 240 BHP thanks to the Prodrive performance pack. Insurance is ok as well, the Prodrive extra's are fully declared and it added around 10% on the standard premium. Details of the car are on the thread below. Oh and I'm sure we could do a deal for a fellow SIDC member UK Impreza WR Sport I thought about modifying it but decided it was better to keep standard as ther'e not many of these car's about.
  23. Very nice car by the way..... Hers's how it could look with Anthracite wheels and lower suspension though Just to get you in the mood....
  24. Hi Jerry I'm based in Perth To and try to get along to the Tayside meets when i'm home. You are also lucky in the fact you have one of the best Subaru tuners based along the road in the name of AWD motorsport in Inveralmond Ind Est. If you have not been in to see them yet i would recommended a visit as Grant and Andy N are top blokes to know When you get the Tuning bug ..... Cheers Christian.
  25. Wasn't expecting that, neither were they apparently...
