Just got in as I had to do a detour on the way home after getting a pull from the police! Got let of with a warning!

I was asked if someone my age should know better than to drive that quickly and if I knew that because it was a fast car, that I didn't have to drive it fast. Asked for paperwork and only had my licence. He asked if I had points to which I replied no, and he said, well its a wonder driving like that. Then I was quized about the number plate, why have you got the spacing like that I was asked. I explain that it was the model the car SCOOB and my initials JW. He asked if I knew it was illegal and I said yes. He said get that changed and let this be a warning to you. Very nice of him I must say. He never said how fast I was going, so I couldn't have been going too fast otherwise I doubt if he would have been so lenient.

It was a good meet too, almost spolied by the incident with the cops, but all's well that ends well. Co-piloted the Barhead Bomber. and what an experience that was, had a good few laughs and a good few frights! Car is rapid and well handled by it's driver. I kinda got lost in Strathaven as I was too busy trying to get my face and my spleen out of the back seat! Thanks for the experience Jim!

another lucky escape not only for welsho but also me as some auld git tried to run me of the road. did you see it Robert? He hesitated so long on passing that truck and then when i went to pass he decided to pull out, lucky it was quite a wide bit of road. Then he growls at me when i do pass him wot i say to him.

That aside it was a really good run and being behind "The Borrheed Bomber" all night think im still a little high from the fumes

i don't want to damage my bonnet mainly, and the scoop doesnt sit quite flush don't want to put it on if it's not going to sit right. might try get nother bonnet with one already in it. but want another car too. the sooner i get rid of my putt putt civic the sooner i can get a new toy
