RS Grant Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Saw this in the local rag and thought that some of our members might have known his cause its such a close community up that way, never thought it'd be an SIDC member. Terrible news, thoughts are with families and friends of those involved. Such a waste. Cheers, Grant
Peter W Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I can only add my condolenses to the families left behind. I don't if anybody remembers an accident on the Keith to Banff road about six weeks ago just outside Cornhill which claimed the life of a 17 year old lad. His mum works for me & every day I see the devastation & heartbreak an accident like that causes. It really is sole destroying. The 2 accidents were within 2 miles of each other.
thefastone Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I was reading it in the P&J just yesterday, as someone brought the paper out here with them, and I dont know, I'm not so sure that I'm impressed. There was a nice article about the 3 of them, but then a few pages later, there was another article about how its all cirtoen saxos that everyone is being killed in, when they listed a bunch of recent smashes... I dont really think that was the time or the place....
frank c Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Sad news indeed.. My condolences to all familes and friends... May they R.I.P Frank.

iainc Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 yes i remember this, its happening far too often up this neck of the woods It was my brothers best mate that lost his life on the cullen to buckie road along with a really young lad and another woman from the area. that was just 16 weeks ago..... heartbreaking Was that the one with the young guy in a recently purchased Puma or something similar? Turned out I knew people from both vehicles, was someone at work that was best friends with the parents of the boy and the wifes boss was driving the other car. Seen the "devastation" on both sides... shows that it doesn't really matter who's fault it was both sets of families (and friends of the family) were quite affected by it all.
iainc Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 thats the one iain Very sad all round. It is something I look at now when choosing a car, drove the sister-in-laws 106 diesel a few years back and would hate to be in an impact in something like that as I'd imagine there'd not be much left of you afterwards.
stevenhiggster Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Like everyone else I am deeply saddened by this news, my thoughts and prayers are with the families involved
