All The Proof I Need To Stick With A Classic

Well, sitting in work today and the topic turned to cars. A colleague said, oh john, i saw one of the new subaru's today, it's quite nice.

One of the guys ( who is gay) pipes up " yeah i saw one too, it's quite nice"

I replied that they are aiming for a wider market now and although i do like it i prefer my classic.

To which he says " but i'm sorry your car isn't that nice, it's not that pretty. the new one is far cuter!" :D

This is from the guy who said to me, you need to see my new car ( a 316 compact ), it's sooo pretty!!

Classics rule!! (especially if your heterosexual) ;)

Very true indeed.

With you working in a hospital you would have thought that smart people would have worked there

You have a very deluded view of hospital workers m8!

i thought that you were going to say that the proof needed to stick with a classic is the £180 we pay for 12 months road tax

(compared to the £250+ that newer impreza owners are charged) ;)

£400 for the Hawkeye in Road Tax last week. Yes I resent it as it isn't spent on roads at all, but I subscribe to the Colin McRae school of thought - "We're here for a good time, not for a long time"

It's only money and you can't take it with you so spend it while you can and enjoy it ;)
