cullenmin Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Our forum has a car care section. I don't mind the car cleaning threads as it gets me off my a*** once in a while to go and clean mine. I just wish I knew how to use all the products that are quite often abbreviated (sp) on the posts. Rich

mikeyb13 Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 There's too many toys out of the pram threads for my liking! We could have a Dolls Out The Pram Forum. Possible Subjects 1. EVOs are better 2. Crail music is brilliant 3. Gold wheels look daft on blue cars
colzo Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Looking great Frank. I enjoy detailing so I enjoy viewing these threads. As said before maybe a Car Care section on Scottish Scoobies would be a good idea.
colzo Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 http://www.detailingworld.com/ enjoy! Great site for hints and tips but the banter isn't as good!

thewelsho Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 no offense m8 but, god how much of these threads do we need I'm not into detailing either, but each to their own. Some people like to mod cars, some like to track them, some like the strip, others like polishing them, some like taking pictures of their own and everyone elses and some even like all those things. SIDC is a community where we swap ideas and stories and the like. If you see a detailing thread or any other that you don't fancy, jist dinna read it, that's what I do.

Frank_STI Posted June 19, 2008 Author Posted June 19, 2008 Hi there, Cracking scooby..do you have any advice for removing faint scratches from a Graphite Black scoob? How did you get you pics on? Gaz If working by hand then I'd recommend Autoglym Super Resin Polish, it won't remove the scratches but will fill them and make them a lot less noticable, will also give a good shine If by machine and the scratches are very light, a finishing pad and something like Meguires #80 would do the trick I have a photobucket account for putting up pics
