Nice Day For Detailing The Scoob

Well with the Elgin/Highland meet/run coming up shortly i thought it was time to give the Scoob a tart up.

So the interior got hoovered and polished then it was onto the outside. ;)

I got the PC out and gave it a coat of Menz Final Finish then 1 Coat of Nattys Blue Wax Followed by a coat of Collinite Wax.

I was a good few hours at it today with plenty of the usual interuptions from people giving there advice on the best way to clean the car! :occasion14:

Ok so here's a few pics of My Old Wagon, she scrubs up well when she wants to! ;)

I know not the best looking interior but it's clean! :P

Looking good but can i ask why you put 2 coats of different wax on it?

To be honest i thought i'd try something different.

Nattys seem to give the car a good glossy/wet finish and Collinite lasts forever. :occasion14:

I thought i'd take it down to the same location as you took the Type R.

It's nice down there when it's sunny! ;)

Never tried it myself so not sure if 1 cancels the other out or not.

You're right about collonite tho, that stuff is awesome.

Yeh i know what you mean, i love Collinite.

But as i said i thought i'd give it a try :occasion14:

Was just thinking I must get one of you guys to wash/clean my car... it'd give you a right workout 'cos it's not been done in months (not sure if I've washed it this year TBH ) :occasion14:

I might see if I get some pics of it up in the state it's in just to annoy the likes of Iain ;) although as it's crystal grey it hides how much dirt is actually on it, my old red wagon was the same... you never realised just how manky they were until you washed them :P
