Oh, forgot to say that your going to get the tracker problem with any company owned by RBS... with covers those 3 and a few more...

(Direct line, Churchill, Tesco, (and Privilege I think...) few others...)

My insurance is with Churchill, they never asked me for a tracker and i queried it, they said its not necessary for the insurance,

Plus they give me a geat discount for having both cars on the policy.

Mac, I'm doing well thanks bud.. hope things are good with you?? How do you find the 2.5 after the Spec-C?? More importantly, which one do you prefer!!

Cheers,

Grant

Both are roughly on the same power mate but the Spec C was very very good, if i wasnt due my first wean i would have kept it. saying that the torque on the 2.5 is amazing, very happy.

Love your car mate and if you split any of it let me have first go on the guages bud.

All the best

I'm with A-Plan, I pay £800 fully comp on a JDM Version 3 STi, I phoned some company who just phone other companies and they call you back with loads of quotes, I spent all day on the phone to randoms and eventually ended up gettin that quote, I had been gettin mostly about double that. And some companies just wont touch an import

grant you should be able to get a decent quote i was quoted 900 for a V6 type-r a year ago from greenlight. ;) The VR6 insurance is due May 1st and can't get it for less than 500 and it was 306 last year and i now have 4 years no claims and am 25 how do they work that out :P

Also my mate used to have a traders policy think he was about 900-1000 and was covered for up to 10 cars. each car was only to be up to the value 50k and he had to phone them and give them the number plate of each car on the policy. At the time he was 23 and had an evo7 a GTO twin turbo a convertable old mini and a 2.2 prelude so definatly saved him a few quid. I will find out the name of the company for ya later on.

Had heard (possibly on this forum) that in the event of a claim that some traders insurance will request to see your books for the last so many years... doesn't pay out if you aren't actually a trader IYKWIM.

Might be worth definitely checking on that kind of point if anyone was considering a traders policy... would hate to think of someone saving a couple of hundred quid and then losing a good few grand 'cos the ins co won't pay out.

Just got my insurance renewal for the Leggy through from Admiral today. £379 FFS I think not :icon_salut: !

The Fozzy turbo was less than that SO I checked with the company I have the two C1's insured with (swiftcover.com) and low and behold got the same level of cover for £196 :icon_butt: and thats with all my mods listed and covered  ah its good to be old with some insurance companies :crying:
