The girl in the XR2 was the same after her little 'off', hopefully she will get her confidence up ready for tomorrow, she will need it when the leaders start lapping her!
st3ph3n Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Who the hell takes an SRT-10 out on track? Mad as anything, but not for the track. Will keep pace with a WRX, maybe a stock STI in a straight line. Lovely pictures though Col. That Gulf elise is a stunning paint job.
johns Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Top photos - would love to make it down to watch, but doubt I can arrange it at short notice.
Linky Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 It was a slippery day good for the slideways! My SBO4Ruu scoob was suffering from fuel surge towards the end. ANyone got any ideas how to cure this?. The nutter with the SR10 ended up in the kitty litter just infront of me. Not the best handling motor for the track

spooks Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Great pics Col, care to share some of your settings with another Nikon man? Wish I could have made it today, with the weather it would have been *ahem* fun, but had other prior commitments

st3ph3n Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 John the SRT-10 is a Dodge Ram pickup truck with the 8.3l V10 from the Dodge Viper in it. You can get it in a quad cab verion too which is even bigger than that one!
RA Dunk Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 John the SRT-10 is a Dodge Ram pickup truck with the 8.3l V10 from the Dodge Viper in it. one can only cringe at the thought of keeping that going in go go juice!
Linky Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 It was good to be there and show up the Bruce's taxi's evo's. I liked the one with the scoob blitzer writen on the rear end...shame i could only read it on the passing. Thanks to Andy for the map on my scoob
Big Gordon Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 The quad cab version is only available with an auto box but you get a 6 speed manual in the 2 door truck.

st3ph3n Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 My cousin's got a yellow SRT-10 quad cab, was some sort of special edition. Anyway - the MPG does indeed bring a tear to the eye. He reset the trip thing on it when I was in it and when he floored it the MPG went down to 2 I think!
