Garbox now rebuilt, found some new seals of the correct flavour in stock at S&S services in Ayr, with the help of a friend who works in Ayr managed to get them back here for tonight. Kenny gave me a hand again and the box is more or less complete now.

Tomorrow going to fit box, new Prop etc. so that should complete the rear drivetrain.

The car is booked into ProGrip on Tuesday for Allignment though it won't be running, so it will have to be pushed onto the ramp and back off again. Spoke to John today and he, as usual, is being extremely accomodating. Settings are a secret so don't ask as a boot in the b**s usually offends  The only thing I'll say is we've gone for softer springs than the old car, with a different ratio front to back, and the roll bars are considerably heavier than previously and relative ratio front to back also different :stupid:

Then it's up to Andy do work his magic ;)

Slow progress, would be happier if everything took less time but we are getting there, Craig was worrking at the back today, but hard to take a pic because of garage layout.

KennyS was up helping again tonight so a fair bit was acheived. Pedal box is in. Brake lines are all in save a couple of missing copper washers. Brakes are a temporary install as the Apexi is going back in for it's first event, so no need to delete the servo for the Simtek yet (though this also won't be necessary short term) Intercooler hanging on bumper, though still to be plumbed. Kill switch pull cable in there, though only 'cause I was mucking about near the end of play B) Wiper motor and linkage also installed.

After a long stint last night (Thursday 11.30pm) and another mega stint this afternoon we are the thickness of a cigarette paper away from having it ready for Kames tomorrow. So with another 5-6 hours left i would say that if anybody's wanting a closer look then Kames is the place to be tomorrow.

Shakedown day today threw up quite a few issues but nothing major fell off, and considering it had only driven on to the trailer before getting introduced to Kames Racing circuit it went very well.
