Spent this evening drawing a schema for the new SOLARIS ecu.

I've been debating in my head for a year now about what to use Features Vs Cost.

The SOLARIS came out a clear winner, the fact that the best Subaru Suppliers/Mappers in the country have signed up for this and the features available............ no brainer !!

Here's my Rev 1.1 wiring Schema

Edited 'cause it should have been V1.1.3 ;)

yea definately ticks all the right boxes john, this time last year simtek was the best option for me with the dual fuel

maps etc but would go for the solaris now if i was on the lookout for a good aftermarket ecu ;)

Neil, it does all of the above and many more. This is just the wiring to make the car go Vroom Vroom.

Jim, Agree, 4 fuel maps, 4 ignition and compensation for damded neer everything. The Simtek is also excellent it was a close run thing, this came down to what I need this to do, long term.

My concern about Road Mode is if John takes it on the road uses the car 50% of its potential then it is Planet Earth i worry about when the whole thing just stops rotating and we possibly start going backwards

These bad boys are 20K Mile AVCS heads

Bought them recently and tomorrow they are on their way to Chy at PENNINE SUBARU for a wee makeover and to be introduced to the bit that goes between them :o

They are not going alone, I'd like to keep my PhI manifold as they are the best option available, so we are adding some www.carldavey.co.uk Gucci stuff. These spacers allow me to use/save money by retaining fuel rails, manifold etc.

On a similar note, anyone who knows me will know how Anal about weight saving I am, again, more of Mr Daveys' Gucci'ness, anyone felt the weight of a '93-'96 Alternator bracket

this mounts this Icle wee thing..

what are the manifold spacers made of john?

the avcs heads will certainly help with low down torque/spool up.nice to see the newage cars were good for

something lol

Grant, there are many compaies out there that will sell you a 'Race' alternator for circa £300, however, they are standerd equipment on a Diahatsu Charade :o

Jim, spacers are Ally, nothing sinister there, but excellent work from Carl as usual.
