Here why is there not a 'Spotted another Subaru' in the Scottish forum?

Could it be added as a sticky, was it added in the past?

Dont flame me as i am just a askin'

Anyway spotted a Yellow classic in Forth high street today, nice colour dont see many like that

it would probs save a load of needless posts,i think that not a lot of folk up here check the official WIY thread on the main forum anyway,only ever saw a handfull of scottish wiy's on there tbh.

My last post in the official WIY took 3 weeks before it was spotted by another Scottish member. Of course there may have been any number of other reasons but merely not looking there could be one. While some might not see the worth of WIY posts the fact is many others do and post regularly, even as a late acknowledgement of a wave, nod, etc. So having a Scottish WIY makes sense.

it was 6 months before i realised someone spotted me in the WIY ;)

lol got bored one day and found i had been spotted after going through about 10 pages :hyper:

Ok spotted at bottom of Lanark high street a nice white classic plate **** LCC, well i think it was white their was a lot of snow today.......... yeah pretty positive.

I'd prob fill it up lol - I have done a fair few since I joined and had no luck with anyone I actually spotted being on here - maybe there's not much success with them so most people have given up? ;)

There was a thread about this not long after the new forums came along.. There was also discussion about adding a sticky link to the top linking to the strictly technical forums.. Not sure if it was forgotten about or whether the powers at be thought there's wasn't enough interest..

It made sense to me.. get people using more parts of the forum withotu having to go back to the main page especially strictly technical where you can get nationwide advice.. Also there's enough spottings going on in Scotland to warrant it's own section in Scottish Scoobies.. IMHO..

Don't want to go overboard otherwise we'll have so many links at the top of scottish scoobies that it will take too long to scroll down to the general posts :(

Although I would have thought the topic would be better placed as a forum up next to Events, Sales/Wanted, Off Topic rather than one posting thread... IMHO Makes it easier to spot and also quick flick down the list to identify a spotting..

Aye... Noticed but it's just a single thread it'll get to 100+pages long and no one will be able to find anything.. Whereas havign it as a seperate forum up above the important topics section, will make it more like the WIY forum on the main part of the site..
