Gawd knows! There's certainly demand for it! I've even considerd starting an online petition to get prodrive to make it as a McRae car... Instead of calling it the P2 Quite simply call it "The McRae".. Works for me.. Sadly the My08, doesn't..

I can almost tolerate it in Silver....

One thing is for sure......buying an aftermarket exhaust system will be an expensive affair now that you have to cater for twin exhausts ( quad tips)

I guarantee it will kick erse on the WRC circuit though. I bet the Irish tarmac guys get in there like dugs in tae beetroot.

Different wheels, grill and rear lights and then I`ll consider buying one in Silver or Grey.

Not liking that too much.. Agree silver/grey is the better colour.. Hawkeye looks great in white.. this doesnt...

BTW - Are they now going for the record for the most amount of bends in an exhaust?

I actually quite like it. Just wish they would do something with the rear end! But then the front of my Bugeye has never been described as pretty.

Saw the new WRX in the flesh when I was on my holidays as they had one on a stand in the domestic terminal of Melbourne Airport of all places. I thought it looked a bit better in the flesh and it was still recognisable as a Subaru from certin angles (well head on, from a distance, after a long flight!)

I'd have an STI in the future though.

I went down to Aberdeen Town & County today and they had the 2008 WRX on display. I never thought I would say this but it's not too bad in the flesh. Still not pretty but not half as bad as I first thought. The front air scoop actually looks fairly mean and is quite big in terms of potential air-flow volume ( http://www.caradvice.com.au/wp-content/upl...8/wrx-open.jpg). I see that a couple of people on SN have bought the Sti too.

Why could it not have looked like this :-
