  1. Well there you go......Something positive for a change... I did post up a while ago telling folk that sccobs would be getting stopped a lot more for random checks. This is due to pond life stealing them a lot just now.. Good advice on the plate and certainly not a daft copper then

  10. AAAHHHH.... I got you there mate When i was searching for insurance on the big 406 we have , it made a difference ( fair bit cheaper ) if i put my wifes employers class down as manufacturing rather than motor trade.... Well at the end of the day Mercedes do " Manufacture " the trucks...

  22. Great advice guys. I'm going to do this myself and get the rust on the wheelarches done by my brother in law when the bumper is off. I should be able to do it ...I'm a coachbuilder to trade.. Been off the tools for 12 years tho
  23. Whilst giving the car a wash this morning, one of the number plate lights fell down with a pile of rust.... This is what i found when i had a peek.... YIKES... I can't possibly sell it like this, so it will have to get repaired. Anyone had to do this job before / how much time / cash etc for the full rear cross member to be replaced ??? Any advice would be appreciated so i can get it done
