Her who must be obeyed took the car for its yearly service today and was somewhat alarmed when the mechanic came out and asked if anything felt strange on the way there seeing as when they put it up on the ramp brake fluid was pissing out a flexy hose. I immedietly thought oh fu*k seeing as ive just done the front pads and discs but it was a rear so not my fault but it has braided hoses which i thought would be pretty indestructable. Anyway all sorted now under warranty but thats a bit of a close one considering she'd driven to carlisle.

Anyone know how much wrap it would take to cover a 3" decat downpipe and an APS uppipe ( should i leave the flexy bit uncovered ?) Don't want to go getting a roll and run out half way. Steve

Well the missus had it for a service today and the ones the dealer had were different but there going to hunt about and see if they can get any.

My local tyre place sent them awat to a company called pristine or prestige i can't remember right now. They only do original equipment wheels and fixed a couple of flat spots as well as the kerb marks and painting them.

Just got my refurbed wheels back today and they look the mutts nuts. I'm totally chuffed but need some new centre caps as they look tatty now.

Never got why the missus was so keen on them but now im hooked.
