  1. Simon i'm working around St.andrews through the week just now if you want an honest passengers opinion i'd be more than happy to take a night off from sitting in the pub [] I reckon between 400 and 450 bhp Steve
  2. It was getting blacker by the minute and the BM was covered in polish but got it all off before the rain started, can't believe how much better it looks with a good clean and it really sparkles when the sun hits it.
  3. I did this [H] I know it'll be mingin again by the time i get to the end of the road but you've got to try and make the effort especially as we parked next to a gleaming black STi at the fort yesterday.
  4. I can understand things like this happening on the motorway etc as the other week a guy wouldn't move over to let us off the slip road but down here there's a good chance you know who it could be and if i had been driving i'd probably have followed him but don't want to end up on the news as a stupid road rage thing that went too far. Still heard nothing from the police which doesn't surprise me as i saw a cop car drive past a man who had a set of ladders in the road with no one at the bottom or any signs, reflective tape or anything last night. It seems they don't really bother there ass with much nowadays. I'm almost glad the cars for sale as it's the missus who drives it everyday and i'd hate to think where it could end with one of the numptys.
  5. He was going to fast though ! Oh i see the other one [:$]
  6. Coming home tonight missus was driving at the legal limit and this twat in a V40 estate decide to try and park in the boot so she gave a tap on the brakes to say back off to which his reply was to overtake while coming up to a set of roadworks where the light had turned green and he had to jump on the brakes swerving all over the road and just about rear ending the cars going through. Now i'm no angel but this was ridiculous and stupidly dangerous so we just kept our distance and i made a phone call but question if i'll here anything about it. It just pisses me off that we were just driving normally not challenging or hasseling anyone and a twat like this could have caused a serious accident for no reason other than to prove how manly his volvo was and he could overtake a subaru.
  7. will be calling you as soon as im out of the bank with a smile on my face mate. You still interesting in part exchange? if not then i will have to wait until i get rid of the golf. [] Definatley it's just what she's after just let me know when the bank manager says yes []
  8. Well mine is for sale at £14 grand but if you want to add another 5 i'll happily give you my miltek exhaust and buy you a splitter []
  9. Well i've gone and done it i'm now the owner of a purple beemer and it feels pretty good just cruising along but when the vanos kicks in boy does it go [] Not had any scary moment yet but below 4000rpm it's pretty civilised and controlable. I'll get some pics once its dry and i've given it a good wash and polish.
  10. Going for a look tomorrow [] The only thing i'm not keen on is the walnut [+o(] a bit pipe and slippers but suppose its all the same when doing donuts [] To be honest i would have bought a beemer ages ago but the missus was adament about the scoob and i just hope i'm not hooked on turbos and 4 wheel drive.
  11. I've had a couple of E30 325's and one was a sport with a slip diff which was very interesting in the wet but also great fun [] This one is tech voilet with grey vader interior, the only thing i'm not sure of is the walnut trim but i'm sure that can be changed. What are they like to run ? mpg etc £600 service just done and that was at an independent so certainly aint cheap.
  12. Its just had an inspection 2 service this week but he has a couple of offers so waiting to hear back
  13. Where can i get a touch up stick and any idea of the code for my PFF7's as the missus encountered one of those rare kerbs that jump out the side of the road and nick a bit of paint from your newly refurbed wheels [:'(]
  14. I was only looking as i may have a chance to swap my landcruiser for one. It apparantley has just had a service and has no vanos issues but not sure if they've ever been replaced but everywhere i read about them this is mentioned and i know a local guy who just spend over a grand on his. Guess its just an expensive gamble if it buggers up after a mon.th
  15. Anyone had one ? Whats the good and bad bits about them ? Any info would be great. Steve
  16. Hunting through my camera found this from sunderland hall.
  17. Any pics as it'll be for the missus and wouldn't like to get your hopes up as you know how fussy women can be [:@] zxr750steve@aol.com
  18. I can take a trade in up to £4/5 grand if that helps and i'll even throw in some white emulsion []
  19. Seems cheap anyway as there was one on scoobynet a while back at £25k
  20. Defo shocks but mine had 2 new rears less than 6 months ago as well as a gearbox rebuild under warranty. Now for sale, ad in the for sale section titled 2003 STi PPP Steve
  21. I used to work on a small private estate and the WOMAN who rented the big house had a SWB Quattro sitting in the garage, think it came out about once a year to mot it. Pity she was such a cow as i never even got a seat in it far less a shot []
  22. When your on photobucket click upload then browse, find the file your pics are in and there you go. Hope this makes sense/helps Steve
  23. There all good but for the money i can't imagine what you could get that would out perform and handle like an STi and as the others said the tuning possibilitys are endless. P.S mines is up for sale [:'(]
  24. I wondered when someone would get round to posting a scoob. At least it was the most famous one of all []
