  1. thats an old one, did the rounds last summer ... but I'd still have one. Look at ... http://www.stiatv.co.nz/
  2. Me missus ran me Prodrive backbox up onto a low wall yesterday backing into a space in town yesterday. I was in a shop at the time of the 'event' and she blurts, "think I clipped the wee wall at the back there", when I came out. Seems to have run about a foot and a half along the exhaust before noticing the car was suspended in mid-air. Could be worse. She could have shut the garage door on the spoiler last week - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. This would be the point where you tell me its not a made from a crappy alloy that dissolves on contact with air, or salt. Don't think I'll get a splitter or lowered suspension now. Think I'll trade in for one of them adjustable suspension motors that ride around like their on stilts. Aye, and I saw 7 scoobs yesterday (5 new age, 2 classic), not one wave. Not even a sideways glance from one of them. Rubbish. Whats the point in training the wee ones in the back to wave when the only waves they get to return are from spotty year olds in their mums corsa. I'm in the huff now.
  3. Didn't get the plate - first one I saw with an STI spoiler, so might well be.
  4. Two different tyre dealers told me edge scrubbing was an artifact of having PAS. Seems they get a lot of makes with the same problem. They said tracking will help a bit, but that driving in straight lines would probably make a bigger difference !!! Rules out most of our roads then.
  5. I got a wave from a UK300 atop the Kingston Bridge on Sunday evening. Notable in that a wave is becoming a rare commodity these days !!! Was wondering if its the same UK300 I see travelling along the M8 in the mornings and the evenings - but I suspect its not as I think today's had an STi spoiler. You won't see me on the M8 weekdays - I drive in undercover mode thro' the week.
  6. Grr, I din't hear a whine at 62 mph till I read this thread. I initially thought the whine was just the wife, but now I hear it all the time ... even when shes at home sipping cocoa. Seems to occur more when you lift off the accelerator, but its there ... at 62 mph. I've some simple solutions: 1. Drive at 60 or 64 mph. 2. Turn the radio up. 3. Drop a gear, open the window and listen to the burble.
