  3. what you need is a 28 day money back guarantee debate ... works on internet book retailers ... should work in car industry. Don't ask - don't get.

  7. IMHO, any ScottishScoobies calendar needs a bit of Scottish scenery to complement the Japanese (ahem) exotica. Scooby on West Arran Beach My avatar is particularly nice, don't you think (look left), Saltire on a Scooby Bumper Its amazing the things you find in carparks if you look closely (parking bay marker reflecting off the bumper).
  8. Piccy & article at http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/2282/
  9. An attempt at a 'wee panorama' of the car park, think I got everyone in. It was an honour to have the opportunity to participate in this tribute: a day of sights, sounds and emotions to remember.
  10. I saw you trundlin along the M8 earlier today, looked like yir trackin was off a wee bit although I'm probably wrong. Car looked like the back wasn't quite following the front.

  12. Nice one mate, nearly got me, but I held it together in the end, just like the big fella.
  13. As a parent, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the families of all concerned. I cannot begin to imagine your grief and hope you are in someway consoled by all of the messages of support from around the world. As a motorsport fan, I have followed his career for many years. I was always impressed by his scruff of the neck approach to each stage - until I saw a short programme with him explaining car dynamics, searching out valuable milliseconds. Then I realised that the man was really a scholar who understood his art. Despite his deep understanding of the art, not many sportsmen guaranteed the tension and drama of Colin McRae where part of his legend parallels the Scottish football team: will he finish the event!!! Scots thrive on hope and ambition. Colin winning the WRC crown delivered many of our hopes and ambitions. A great Scottish legend in the best traditions, sorely missed.
  14. Folks, thank you for appropriately representing the thoughts of Scooby owners. I think I heard the BBC reporting the event as an "emotional tribute". A sad time for all of the families concerned, our collective thoughts are with all of them. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to Lanark in time but it was a good sight to see you all arriving at sandyholm later on, we counted around 13 cars in the car park. Hope the fella in the black jacket found the M74 to Cumbernauld alright.

  16. I stand corrected - I must need glasses. Off to look at the wife now
  17. come on, who ever bought an impreza based on its looks the new sti will go like stink - and with a few mods will probably warp space-time for sub-£30k so what if its fugly - i'd rather be sitting at the wheel myself
  18. I'll tell the better half to keep an eye out - she'll be in the scoob weaving all over the road as she tries to stop the wee ones fighting in the back
  19. "over here" is toward glasgow can be seen mostly on weekends pottering around south lanarkshire as through the week I'm mostly in a stealth mode
  20. Thanks, I've been enjoying it for two years now ... I'm just a lazy bam admitting to my addictions
  21. After too many years browsing Scottish Scoobies from afar, I finally bit the bullet and paid the dues, and it was great to recieve my first True Grip in the post today! Nice to get the chance to say hello to you all. So, a big hello from over here.
  22. Anyone suggestions for window films around the glasgow area? Got two motors to consider - so economics may dictate absolute ambition. The wife's been reading the papers and talking to a local constable and has become a tad sensitive to the notion some f'wit having a pop at the windows at traffic lights with the wee ones in the car. How much would I be looking at for anti-brick and a bit of smoke? Many ta's ...
  23. if you google "subaru atv" you'll get loads of hits telling the story
