The sidc have been invited to attend the Japanese Performance Sunday Location- Wellington Country Park, nr Reading Date- 27th April 2008 Cost- £5 per person (pay on the day). This is a very laid back show for all Jap cars. We will be there along side the American Classic car show so there will be lots to see. There will be a various awards given out on the day so you may even win a prize. There will be a number of club displays and trade stands , food stalls and discount on entry into Wellington country Park. This should be a great family day out so lets get our names down.

Date: Sunday 11th May 2008 Venue: Santa Pod, Northampton Admission: On the Gate - Adult £15 (Under 13's Free) Advanced Tickets can be purchased direct through Santa Pod - £12. Subject to booking fee. Tel No. 01234 782828 or Details: The SIDC Club stand will only be there on the Sunday. We have secured a Club Stand area with a provision of 60 spaces. The Club area is open to SIDC Members Only. As with the other shows at this venue Santa Pod are issuing out Car Passes. So -- no car pass no display area!! So it's pay on the day or book your own advanced tickets now. RWYB - £15 for 3 runs down the strip Remember all cars need to be road legal with MOT and Driving Licence (Both need to be brought with you) Please see and read Santa pods website for Rules and Regulations on running down the strip. .......our very own birthday girls skate off on the 27th of march its Karyn's (SHESCOOBYs) birthday and has invited each and every one of us to go ice skating on the 30th of march at the oxford ice rink, this will also tie together with the oxon meet. so i think as there marriage is getting ever closer we should start off with a belting day at the rink followed by a nice drink at a pub just like the day we had last time, the main details are to follow but it will be on the 30th march please put your name on the list if you wish to join us in this double occasion 1. I had the same problem on MY94 wagon. It was not the rocker gasgits and turned out to be the oil pump seal. Check you are not leeking from the power stearing res as they are crap on the early cars, all drip down onto manifold and smoke an smell. Iain

As you may have read on the home page Powerstation in Tewkesbury are having an open day with various things going on during the day including a FREE Dyno shoot out. We have been personaly invited to have a stand there for the day. I am hoping to get 50 cars turn up but we have been challanged to get 100 cars... Powerstation Open Day Along with the FREE Dyno shoot out there will be a DJ playing mustc all day and if we get a good turn out of cars they will lay on a BBQ. They have also told me that there will be some great discounts on the day for MY94- MY08 so for those last minute mods this could be a great chance to bag a bargin. This is open to all SIDC Members so lets all get together and show people we can do this. There should also be press at the show so you never know we might even get into a magazine as well. Please add your name to the list below and if you cam pm me your membership details that would be great. Cheers Iain
