About jason751

  1. Hi . I was doing 80mph in 6th. changing down to 5th to overtake and same thing clutch down could not go into 5th tried 6,4,3 no luck. had to cost over to hard shoulder and all i could smell was the clutch. Switch off engine then started it with clutch up and the car jump into gear and i was off again. Had my 08sti from new and that was the only time it happened in the year i had it. I got a 330s sti now from new and no problems so far.. I did talk to the dealer and he said he knew of no other car with this problem ??????????????
  2. Hi. What was the price of the stage 1 handling kit. i got the 330s and want to tighten it up a bit. Thanks.
  3. Yes, It is being run by the B.S.C got to surport my club.
  4. Hi Mark, how you doing ? What you been up too.
  5. Yes thats is right. I had a 08 but all you have to do if is was not done already it for the Subaru dealer to do a recal programe that is needed, Its free as its a recal. I had it done when the car went in for a 10,000 mile service but you dont have to wait till then. Im in a 330s now. Just get it booked in to your Subaru Dealer a.s.a.p All the best.
  6. Hi go for it. I had 08 when it first came out and loved it. It good on long rides and keeps on going. I just traded it in for the new 330s and it even better with the ride and the seats and power. Go for the 330s if you can get it. Miles are about 26mpg and i have had 36mpg on a long motorway ride.
  7. Thats your view on the new shape Im on my second new shape and loving it just as much if not better then the old shape.
  8. Already had preview drive of the new RS. Its very good but not as quick off the line as the STI.
  9. NOT GOOD NOOT GOOD. You are the best Iain and a very sad day for the club.
  10. I had a 1993 WRX import with no problems and with the same power as a manual. The only thing is that it will be slower off the mark as you cant Rev it and dump the clutch as you would in a manual. You should have a Auto switch in the car by the gear shift press it and use the 4 gears like you would a manual. My did a 134,000 miles with no problems with the box. All the best with it.
  11. Yes BIG welcome to BSC. Hope to see at our monthly meet or a show.
  12. It got to be Wimpy for that he has done for the club and all the hard work in the past for all the shows that he as run.
  13. No dont stay scooby. I have a Friend who works for Ford Dealer. He said i can have one at cost price £20,000 Not bad i think. My partner wants it.
