CONVOY FOR MCRAE GATHERING SUNDAY 31ST AUGUST 2008 Since it’s not very long until this event we should probably sort out a convoy as there are a few of us going from Cambridge. I’ve done some searching and like the Richard Burns Memorial Relay it looks like there will be a large convoy of Essex Scoobies going. They are meeting at Thurrock services at 6:45am and leaving at 7:15 to head round the M25 to the M40. To save us going out of the way, there is another smaller group meeting just off the M11 at Harlow who will then meet up with the larger Essex group as they go past the M11 junction on the M25. The Harlow group are meeting at the BP garage on the A414 at 7:15 and leaving at around 7:35 when they get the call! The original topic can be found on the “other” site. Oh dear that's not good. I'm having similar problems. I ordered a front splitter on the 23rd July as I was told they were getting some in stock early the next week. I've since sent two emails to find out when it's going to be shipped with no replies. Today is three weeks since ordering...... Dibs

I’m looking for a set of mudflaps for my MY07 STi. I had a set of Prodrive stone deflectors on the front of my classic which were cool. Even though they were subtle they provided a lot of protection to the bottom of the front doors. It seems they do these for the newage cars, but again only for the front. I’m not that keen on the huge big floppy ones which drag along the ground (he he he) and I’ve seen a couple of places (such as Scoobyworld) which do stiffer ones. Has any one fitted these? Any recommendations? Cheers Dibs

Looking at their website it shows a couple of Park and Rides sites nearby – Formula One and Peruvian Wharf. I can’t seem to find any details about them though. Has anyone used these before or can recommend parking nearby please? On site is pay and display and is v.expensive……. Cheers Dibs

Yep, there's a mark on this filler pipe (by the battery) so top up here. Also check that the metal tank on the left hand side of the engine is full to the brim. Make sure you fill with the correct concentration of coolant too! Dibs

Cheers Nick (and Kevin too). It's going to depend on whether I trade it in (and take the PPP off) or sell it privately (in which case it's more desirable with the PPP fitted). At the moment all the part-ex offers have been poor (£2k ) so I may well take everything off It should be worth £3k private..... Probably a newer scoob (54 plate onwards STi). I've driven a couple of 2.5 PPP'd STi spec D's which were nice but I'm still tempted by the new 08 STi...... Also tried Audi S3 (not exciting enough) and BMW 135i M Sport Coupe (very good).......who knows
