My old car (MY99 UK turbo) started to crunch into 5th the day I had it filled with Silkolene gearbox oil. I had the box drained and refilled with Castrol Syntrax a week later and it went right away. That was on a car that had done £130k+ miles too. IIRC there was a mechanical fix for this issue too. Something to do with a nut in the box which works loose and can be re-tightened. Dibs

Me too The horrid plastic pipe under the intercooler was also replaced with an alloy piece. Plus, I believe there was a different restrictor in the small bore boost control pipework. I also had the Prodrive Driving Enhancement Pack on mine - 17" wheels, Bilstein dampers, Eibach springs and a quickshift. I'm not sure if the rear anti-roll bar was also changed though..... Dibs

I'm sure you'll be very impressed with the wet grip too - I was I just found that I was having to run very high pressures to stop rolling the sidewalls over - they were very scuffed. Maybe I just corner too hard Dibs

Really? Why do you say that? I ran a couple of sets of FK452's on my classic and thought they were very good for the money. I don't like the soft sidewalls on Goodyears and Toyo's get completely destroyed on track, IMHO of course Dibs

Still no sign of my splitter (it was ordered nearly two months ago!!!!). Has anyone actually spoken to Scott Lowe recently? I managed to get through a couple of weeks ago (Thursday 4/9) to be told he was just picking them up from the factory and would ship it out to me the next day to get it to me on the Monday (8/9). It didn’t arrive Monday so I called again on the Tuesday (9/9) – he took my number and said he would call back once he had chased the courier. It's now been another week and I still have no update. Whenever I phone the 0845 number just rings with no answer and the mobile rings and then goes through to his voicemail. I’ve left numerous voicemail messages and sent emails but had no replies to either. I was billed on the 4th September. If it doesn’t turn up in the next day or so I have no option other than to call my credit card company and seek a refund. Is this typical or am I just unlucky? Dibs

An update: Still waiting for my splitter, ordered 23rd July..... I managed speak to him the week before last and was told that my order had been moved to the deleted file. Was promised that it would be sent out that weekend to get to me after the bank holday. Still no sign and I've left messages on his mobile voicemail last week and today (the landline just rings with no answer or is engaged). Is he away? Dibs
