Kev i had a dawes on my car year a go was fitted by Awd i didn't have a knocklink or Afr meter it makes a difference the turbo spools up a lot faster .I have my2000 uk turbo with full decat and tek3 and jr panel what i have know it spools up same and i still don't have knock and afr and do you have a dawes i have one sitting at home and what boost are you running at the moment your better of with knocklink and Afr better on the safe side.If you were going to spend money on a chip better of spending the money on power fc and maped by Andy f a lot safer than a chip . My cars ecu was an 802 that runs richer than 800 and 801 my ecu know is 800 tek2 exchange job which was rubbish had problems with it but tek3 remap what a difference

Chris a long as he drives it down when he takes on the back of a trailer he ends up with problems that what he said when i spoke to him when i got my car remaped at AWD a few weeks back he need sum lucky charms in it

I wonder if my boss would let me make somthing like that i work for a blacksmith i know a welder that does stick mig tig and that is me .Did it take much cleaning of the inlet bit what goes on the engine because you can see the join plus alu does not like any oily or muck for welding wise and Andy thank for your reply

Hi soob are you going to be working abroad a least you will get plenty of air miles to up grade when you are flying and best of luck in your new job

Get the locking nut to welders shop and get them to build up the 2 broken bits with weld and that should work if its welded neatly worth a try and what Craig said about mig welder use stick you have small rod to work with the shroud of the mig torch is to wide so won't get in close enough
