^^^^^ how many sticky's in general^^^^^^^^^
ally-b replied to craig mac's topic in Scottish Scoobies
"Ally brought Santa Cruise in to this simple question post No one else did and the sooner people realise that the better" Only because that is the subject of the posts you are referring to , and the reason why they are not in the usual 'events' section . I use the events section on a monthly basis to intimate Glasgow meets as do all the ROs .I fully understand how to use different sections of the forum. Some events though are annual charity events and as such deserve a 'sticky' to ensure maximum publicity and thus full support of the club. I hope that explains it clearly enough . Merry Christmas. I don't think most members would consider once-a-year charity work by the club as 'clutter' . It is only four threads after all , if you are not interested - don't read them . IMHO it would be better if there were more . . . . . Al. -

I think these regions are the only ones who have actually organised Santa Cruise's in the whole of Scottish Scoobies. Paul , Spooks and myself , along with lots of members help , have put a lot of time and effort into organising these events . Members from all regions have contributed raffle prizes , bought raffle tickets and made donations . These events are charity events where we raise money for local sick childrens hospitals and childrens homes . They are not just announcements of monthly meets , gatherings etc . So they deserve to be posted in 'General' for everyones attention. I know that some folk like to try to create inter-region rivalry (why?) but in this case it is very inappropriate to try to stir things up. Ally. -
I'd recommend those handling mods on a classic - really 'tightens' it up [Y] Al.

Exhaust clearance question..! Long winded...

I'd an annoying squeek after I fitted my TSL system . I thought it was suspension related , and I feared the worst[] Took a while to trace , but it turned out it was rubbing against a welded flange underneath . A wee tweak with a big shifter bent the flange a couple of degrees out of the way and problem solved [] Al.
