ta for the input guys, Ideally id have loved to get the custom treatment this time but taking a day of work or even a sat all day away is tough at the moment so i have had to go the easy way. The price quoted by meercat for the days work and install is bl00dy fantastic so anyone reading should defo consider them if you have the time to wait. So should have the revolution centre and back box to go with the decat front from them fitted on sat morning. Car sounds superb at the moment with the huge hole in the back box, it sound like an act of god! Keap...its nice to have comendations from folk like harvey and andy f was the chap who recommended the up pipe from revolution so should be interesting when the rest of the system goes on. cheers. willie

no worries gubder, the back box has been on its last legs for about two year now! when andy f was mapping he commented on its poor performance so its been on the cards for replacement since then and now is the time. Brain id have bitten off peters hand for that system if it was for a classic but no such luck!! Ive just spoken to scott from meercat and been quoted a pretty good price. Only problem is that due to the custom build id have to spend all day there which is a shame. It would be nice to go the custom build way but its a wee bit of a pain being away for a day at the moment. Will prob just go the revolution way this time but id be happy to let the meercat boys have a go next time. Cheers for your comments. Willie

Last night i managed to blow the crap out my hks supper dragger back box. Due to the these being pricy iam going to go for either of the above. Does anyone have either the zorsts above and care to comment on them? iam trying to get a hold of willie for a price for the meercat but any info about noise level and tail pipe size would be appreciated. sometimes the rad end cap leaks are a sod to find. I had my radiator out the car and still failed to find a leak. I found it in the end cos it split right oped and was then unmissable! Not the end of the world only a hundred bucks for a new one. willie.

you might need to down size your plugs gap depending on what sort of boost andy will be able to dial in. Andy would be the chap to double check with. He had me take my gap down to 0.6 prior to mapping my apexi. bet you cant wait! willie

nice idea, no G force tho so a bit of a shame. If you are using this then it must have similar Rolling resistance to a RR so would still be putting strain on the drive train. Coupled with the fact that i guess you can just go again and again would mean a few exciting engine deaths. still sounds like fun.

ive got a best man speech to deliver in four weeks time so ive spent a fair bit of time on the example speech web sites. one thing to watch is having read about a hundred, the number of reapeated gags is scary. bit of a sod cos some are very good but the last thing you want is to be using well used material. i have nicked obbs gag about the inlaws so you might want to avoid that one good luck. how about this one..... i asked the minister what his opinions are as regards to sex before marrige......he`s was quite happy as long as the ceremony was not held up to long... boom,boom.

wonder wheels seems to do the trick for me, made from non-ionic surfactants and dilute hydrochloric acid tho so not to be applied and left for any length of time. very good for the nasty burned in brake dust. i apply it but have a water hose nearby so that i can make sure its all away once the wheels look clean. uesd it on my last two sets of wheels with no bother so far but i obviously tested it out on the inside of a spoke first. willie

full de cat, good filter, apexi maped by andy F then happy happy joy joy! ( or ecutek ?) safe 270-290 bhp all day all night. no chips and steer clear of de cats unless you get it checked on a rolling road. willie

mine did this a few months back, in the end it was just a leak from the rad plastic end cap. the water level in the expansion tank did not drop untill i squeezed the top rad pipe. then it would drop to show the real water level. are you sure its not just loosing water? Try squeezing the top rad hose, if you get some nice gargling noises and some bubbles then it would look like a similar problem to mine. new rad was my fix and only £100 notes so noe the end of the world. As for it being the head gasket is there not some funky machine that looks for gas contaminants in the coolant to confirm gasket bother? best of luck. willie

Not sure if it will be a u8, cos i had a u8 on 95 wrx ( non wagon ). u8`s i think are used on the wrx`s upto 94 and including very early 95. But in think wagons had summin else? sorry i cant be of help.
