Couldn't resist and bought it! Removed manky black decals from the sides etc. Spit and polish but need wheels, dump valve decent tt,changing the morettes to chrystals and the lexus to STI. I keep managing to set the alarm off. 14 times today whilst polishing. Some folks are wary of the RR days for their engine. I don't really know much about this car so should I be concerned about putting it on the rollers? Pete

Engine replacement was 2 years ago and had a clutch kit fitted at a cost of £3200. Another Scooby owner has driven it and I am picking it up tomorrow :-) Will post pics when I get it. Wouldn't mind a space at the RR day just to see what it has. Someone suggested that the CEL may be coming on because its not been re-mapped for the STI engine? Cheers Pete

Went to see a Scoob on Saturday night and am on the verge of buying it. Does anyone know the car? Aberdeen K reg silver WRX (been facelifted and morettes) all the toys,dump valve ,turbo timer etc,etc. 80k miles £3500 Couple of things, Engine changed 20k ago by Wallis Performance but it's an STI red top. Apparently 300 + bhp Engine management light comes on randomly. Apparently been into Town and County and no faults are showing, Any advice appreciated. Oh and if it's your car, I'm just checking :-) Pete

SORTED I had a spare cold start valve so decided to give it a try and yeeha it now goes like f*** Thanks for all the replies guys Pete

Saturday morning I was driving home when the car started to misfire and stutter. Foot to the floor and revs wouldn't go over 3000 revs. Eventually got home and changed the plugs, air filter and leads that didn't help either. Disconnected the battery for 15 mins and success. It ran fine! Now it's the same again. The only way it can run is if I disconnect the battery. (Of course I have to reconnect it again) Pete

I use paint saver on my mountain bike. You can get sheets of it from all the motor bike shops. Pete

I did it last week. Pulled every possible fuse checked every possible earth, dismantled the dash then discovered the switch [:$] Pete

They were trying to get the Kenwood stereo. They tried to prize it out and realised it was bolted in so the broke it instead. Stole his sunglasses too the F*****s

Last night my Sister boybriends WRX was broken into. Broke the passenger side lock, trashed the dashboard, ripped up the carpets and stole to sub from the boot. No cameras either. Pete

Did the training yesterday and the weather was pants so the dive was cancelled. Hopefully next weekend. Pete
