  2. There is a place in dunfermline called Engineering agencies that sell awesome overalls made by a company called Fristrad. they do every size imaginable. They are a bit pricey at £55 inc kneepad inserts but they last me about 3 years which aint bad concidering i'm hardly out of them.
  3. looking good mate. where did you get em n do they come with the badges?
  4. the car was running well then the remote fuel guard which is part of blackjax {clifford 600} started cutting fuel off when it felt like it. got that fixed and was running sweet again until i replaced pump! Jobbies
  5. got the fuel guard prob sorted but thought i'd be smart and uprate the fuel pump. Should have left alone eh?
  6. where is the idle stepper motor located? what is best to clean with. Thanks
  7. did you use the old or new filter?
  8. yeah all double checked. old pump fuels at 190 litres/hour and new 255 litres/hour but would have thought regulator would sort this out.
  9. heard of these. they are not bad but you'll probably find they will wear quicker as they are slightly softer than toyo etc.
  10. hi. After a few problems with my scoob not starting it boiled down to the fuel guard on the alarm but in the process i bought a walbro fuel pump for my99 uk turbo. I thought i'd fit it anyway but now when its idleing it goes fast/slow due to the increased fuel pump rate. Will this sort its self out with a ecu reset or is it remap time? The car has no power mods just downpipe, hi-flow cat, panel filter and d/v. Any advice will be well recieved. Thanks
  11. havnt used these myself but pagid are a well known brand and for 60 bucks you cant go wrong! Did you just do an upgrade walbro fuel pump to ur soob?
  12. Welcolm Mr Badger, still need brakes? I just put EBC red stuff discs and pads on my99 uk and cant fault them. they stay this colour too. hope this link works first one ive tried
  13. how easy or hard did you find fitting the pump? I'm doing mine tomorrow. Any handy hints? Cheers

  18. i believe the basics are ok but i'm no car boffin. car starts but cuts out staight away. did this for an hour on friday then decided to start and got home with no probs. went to start it on sat and was doing the same. if you do have a maf that would be ideal. I'll cover your costs.
  19. Just tried the fault find on the ecu but the engine light was just flashing steadily so disconnected the maf and tried again and came back the same! I'm either doing something wrong or im in big trouble.. possible ecu failure? any comments?
