Look, the Subaru grin:

Sorry, but I'm going to be a no-show again, for the same reason as last time: on-call. I was actually at work at 02:30 this morning...

No mate, older than that - 03 IIRC.
Obviously not you then...

wrx_yank
Were you parked up on the bridge in St Ives about three Saturdays ago? I saw a US wrx there.

Over there on business (third time). The scoob made a change from all the clapped-out mercs, and the mafia in their black X5s.

Green classic with low spoiler and aftermarket exhaust. I think the driving was a bit poor but it's hard to tell over here. If this is still owned by someone in the UK: sorry mate, but you'll never see it again...

turns out to be a hoax, http://www.sophos.com/security/hoaxes/olympic.html
If someone sends you an e-mail warning of a virus it is just about always a hoax.

I never did see it - had to mail the admin who pointed this thread out...

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call. If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at www.icstis.org.uk <> or your local trading standards office.
The scam is genuine, the £15 bit is not: UK phone lines are physically unable to charge more than £2 a minute, and contrary to popular myth you cannot be transfered to an overseas call without your knowledge. But it's still a scam.

You can get a Samco hose bit that does the same thing. As for the ZeroSports version, a word of advice: it makes the filter cover hard to remove because you're replacing a flexible hose with a rigid one.

Start it up, heaters on full blast then inside for a cuppa
10 mins later
- someone has stolen your car.

Whether you fit a cat or not is up to you. A sports cat reduces the power by 3 or 4 BHP compared to no cat at all and with no cat you will either have to keep the original center section and change it in and out for the MOT or you will need to goto a cat friendly MOT station. There are a few that will change the exhaust, MOT the car and then change the exhaust back.
Newage are slightly different: the OP's STI has four exhaust sections - downpipe (which has a cat), cat pipe (which has a cat - natch), centre-section, and backbox. So he will need to buy four parts.
The limiting factor on an STI is probably the turbo, which is good for about 340bhp with full supporting mods. At that power you don't need to change the up pipe or headers, but you would if you were going for a more powerful turbo. My 02 STI runs 325bhp with just an STI panel filter, walbro fuel pump, 3" H&S sports-cat replacement for the downpipe and cat pipe, and a Pavlo remap. Full decat would probably get you 330, which is what people like TSL offer (Paul Blamire is doing their mapping anyway still, AFAIK). After that turbo limitations will make it harder to get much more power.

'Cos obviously that wasn't set up for the camera...

Swissol if you're loaded, Meguairs if you're not as flush. I use the Meguairs NXT myself, but you need a good microfibre cloth to polish it off with if you want to avoid swirls.
If you are REALLY flush, pay Roy to polish it for you! He's just up the road from you.

as for the scotts etc well they'll never be as good as us ,but then they dont have allot of players to choose from .
I'm Australian. We play proper sports, like Australian Rules. How long do you think any of the people on your list would last playing that?

1) I'm not English.
2) It's girl's game.

This is probably the important bit:
Impreza sport
There are some scoob owners who'd say much the same (not me before anyone starts shouting)....

I'm up for it.

Paintshop Pro does similar things to Photoshop, but less of them, and at a much less professional level. Which is why official versions of Paintshop Pro are about £50, and Photoshop is (if bought legally) about £400! They are also made by different companies. If you only want to do the odd bit of adjustment to photos then Paintshop Pro is fine, but if you are serious then you need Photochop.

It's the same, BUT - the hanger nearest the front is on the opposite side on newages, so the old BB will only fit if the hanger swaps over.

Gary is also good because he has a scoob (classic IIRC), so when you discuss mods he knows what you are talking about.

Unlucky! They had the mobile unit at work today and at least three people fainted or went a funny colour! Must be the time of year...
M

I hope you weren't one of the ones keeling over? I'm told they were dropping like flies... There were certainly two screened off when I go there.

Saw your car at the blood centre in Cambridge today. Whole blood or apheresis?

Only JDM-spec machines have rear wash-wipe, UK ones won't have it no matter what the model AFAIK.
The only way to be certain is to read the VIN plate under the bonnet and get the chassis number. Then compare it to the list on the FAQ. There are other ways (red manifolds on STIs etc), but none that can't be faked by someone sufficiently determined.
