Interestingly, in cases where police drivers (and army in one case) have exceeded the limit on orders from the passenger, the "I was just obeying orders" defence failed - the driver was held entirely responsible. It strikes me that it is the court which has the double standards.

The PC may be up to date, but the 9800 isn't. Drop the resolution, and turn off FSAA and anisotropic filtering (don't need them in all that darkness anyway...).

I was told ali for both by the salesman (whose name was "Crooks" - what a giveaway...), but steel for the boot makes more sense: the loading from the spoiler at high speed must be pretty big.

As for the Napier Sabre engine, when I worked at the IWM in Duxford we restored a cut-away version of one. Flat-H 24, sleeve valves (look great, spit out more oil than a ****el engine), 36.5 litres, 3055bhp at 1500rpm. And that is NOT a typo. Every other tw*t coming through would make the same "joke": "That would look great under the bonnet of my/your car!" Listen you idiot, it's six feet long and five feet tall, so you couldn't see around it - even if it fitted. It weighs just over a ton, so goodbye suspension. And when you put your foot down the torque would turn your car over. G*d I got sick of that...
