  2. I was speaking to Liz about this last week. Yes, they know - the site is being updated, but pressure of work means it's taking a while. M

  5. As some people have already pointed out, it will probably stick to the showroom floor just as well.... M
  6. Right folks, as discussed yesterday, here it is... The October meeting of the Cambridge Chapter of the SIDC will be a curry. 7. Depends on the car, what power you want, and what you plan to do with that power. If you have an early classic, then yes it helps. If you have a late classic it helps less. If you have a newage it makes little difference. 300bhp - not much difference. 400bhp - makes more difference. 500bhp - probably essential. Road only - limited use. Racing - much more useful. M (02 STI, 390bhp, still original top mount).
  8. Sorry, but we are meeting a LONG way from Stalham. The venue is in Fen Ditton which is just outside Cambridge. For meets in your area you're probably better off looking in on Scooby City. M
  9. I make the next meeting to be due on Tuesday 25th September. How does that sound? The Plough from 19:30 onwards as usual? M
  10. I believe that the towing car is being driven by Any Forrest, after he flew somewhere like Jamaica to do a map. He did have a long post on SN explaining what happened, and I seem to remember that it wasn't quite that straightforward. M
  11. Peterborough meets are nearly always the last Friday of the month, but the venue can change. M
  12. INAL, but I believe it has to start in under three years; but there is no saying when it has to be settled by. M
  13. IIRC, for this event it's 09:00. You'll need to go to the entrance further down the A505, past the old original gates, NOT the usual main entrance. They should have a sign up there for club vehicles. M
  14. Not sure yet, I'm trying to get out of an on-call night. M
  15. Right, I've decided... The convoy will start at the Park and Ride car park in Trumpington. If that is closed (and i think it is), then it will be the Waitrose car park next door. Meet at 08:00, for an 08:30 departure. Be there or be square etc. M
  16. Belated reply: mines a rally blue bugeye, with an STI8 scoop: Is yours the one I've seen a couple of times near the hospital? I think each time I've seen it I've been on foot so you won't have noticed it. I think there's two red classics in the area, one with gold decals, one without. M
  17. From memory the P&R car park is shut on a Sunday, which is why we ended up in Waitrose last year. After planning a rendezvous in the P&R car park...[] M
  18. Do we have a convoy plan for this yet? Last time it was about 08:30 in Trumpington Waitrose car park IIRC. M
  19. Or you can go to Zen (I notice you got your engine from Paul) - he takes the car over to the Ford garage opposite and then does the work himself. BTW, what colour is your car? I'm in the Huntiingdon area and I see a fair number of scoobs around. M
  20. Er - why? Or are you in a van? M
  21. You'll be fine as long as you don't mind all the locals having webbed fingers and toes... M
  22. No can do - previous engagement. M
  23. According to my freebie local paper, the SPECS cameras on the A14 between Huntingdon and Cambridge are now live - so watch out. M
  24. According to Kevin, space is not a premium here - if we need more, then Duxford will give it. All Kevin needs is notice of how many people are turning up, and he needs to know a little before the event. M
  25. 1. Kevin 2. Smudga 3. Dibs 4. TomDibs 5. Meridian
