  1. Did I spot you this morning too? I'm afraid the scoob is very sorry for itself at the moment, I managed to pick up a screw on one of the tyres, so the space saver is on! Saw you twice today though Mr Boxer 23 and spotted that CustomBlokie too!
  2. No can do I'm afraid, grandmothers 80th birthday
  3. RB5 too scarry? He should try an STi and an RA gearbox
  4. Who's got the lovely one with a K199 plate parked on the prom most days? Sonic blue V5/6ish I think, looks very tidy indeed.
  5. We'll hear you driving it to the secret location with or without bung! Could hear you all the way to Athol street yesterday! DUDE!
  6. If you could get andy over here it would be excellent, done north weald twice now, both were superb! Would need prices before firm commitment though - I doubt it would be cheap , but I guess it's better than boat + petrol + 1st lotus price.
  7. << sweet. A week today and I will have my car back dudes. >> Excellent news dude!! SWEET!
  8. You look like you're trying to get out the windscreen when you wave mate! Always good to see a wave from a friendly scooby, not seen many for a while!
  9. Nothing wrong with gold 16" alloys, the cheek!! Sweet!!
  10. << Hmmm...I'll be the one in the WRC Blue 99 STi Type RA Ltd Edition, with the big feck off scratches and gouges in the front bumper after sliding into the back of another car in the snow this morning Not amused one bit as the car WAS spotless.... >> Got my sympathy mate, I got reversed into in traffic Nice dent in the front drivers wing and bumper!!!! His fault thou, so fortunatly not my problem. Got some decent use out of the DCCD going sideways up an icy road though So, I'm kristan, in the 96 vLtd blue Type RA with an exhaust you can hide children in PS - anyone see the scoob on the cover of the paper (indy or examiner, not sure) tonight? Green UK I think it was, just caught a glimpse!
  11. Definitely reckon a competition could be on I'd like to know how loud mine is for track purposes etc.. I know some places have restrictions on noise levels Unlike the mountain
  12. He wasn't drunk saturday night, just very tired! Don't blame you at all thou matey! Who on earth was that Chris bloke? He could talk for england!!
  13. Can't friday night but will be out for a few hours on saturday night! Possibly during the days too, but not sure yet! Looking forward to seeing everyone again Didn't see the yellow sub at SCP this morning, have you picked it up Jon?
  14. << << And the whining diff has apparently been caused by me using the DCCD on tarmac! >> F**k i use mine a fair bit to, only 1-2 notches. >> you're not the only one I use it all the time going round corners etc, gives so much more grip and from reading the SN forums I've never had any hesitation to wind it up 3-4 notches, and have had it on full lock on gravel before. It's almost always one notch in the wet just to stop the back end going out around roundabouts
  15. Clyinder head is where the problem with mine is, somewhere in the cam train, wouldn't be much point just bolting on a 2.2 to the bottom just to have the same bloody annoying noise!!! Am tempted though, but then I'm also tempted to turn the scooby into a project car and just rebuild the engine meself. Never done an engine before, but then I'd never done anything before I'd tried it!
  16. 2.2 short block... Hmm..... Don't suppose you want to throw the top end in too?
  17. Sorry to hear mate Maybe something electrical to do with the DCCD? On mine 1st is a challenge in the cold mornings, and second can be too. 5th is a bloody nightmare at any time, it's miles over and then up - the first four are so close together you get used hardly moving the gearstick
  18. yellow thing did look nice actually, it looked SWEET!! AND DEN!!!
  19. Heard you pootling down Finch road this morning, was tempted to shout "Dude!" but thought everyone might look at me funny! Most people do that anyway, but hey! What does mine say?
  20. Neil mate, reply to you PM's! Did you hear us last night? Send us your moby number so I can find out where you guys are, not sure what I'll be doing this weekend but will meet up with you lot at some point
  21. Blood all over the doors, I hate it! Gonna start painting "kill" markings down the side of the car to record how many of them I've got. Mmmm, prawn toast! God I'm hungry, that jammie wagon wheel only made me want food more!
  22. << then we can chase little Jap guys on motorcross bikes round the streets of Onchan........... >> Wouldn't be the first time I've done that Except being the isle of man, they were only on scooters, and their were only delivering food for the Jap guys
  23. Nah, was doing it ages ago, went away, now seems to have come back... Gonna try cleaning the boost solenoid and maybe the MAF. It feels more ignition related though. Think the previous owner probably had similar problems as it's had the coilpacks replaced by big external bosch ones and there engine is earthed straight back to the battery in about 5 different places.
