  1. A bold statement that surely you'll expand on why you've come to that conclusion. I like it's ltd edition paint colour. I like it's ltd edition seats. I like the classic design. What's not to like? craig.
  2. ....colin's by any chance?
  3. Welcome along, try and get some photos posted and i'll look out for you when i'm up callender way.
  4. Why don't you get a tape measure or a ruler and measure it, it's either 100mm or 114 mm from the centre of wheel stud to the next wheel stud.
  5. That's way way way below the belt Noel. That's been targeted for that amount of damage. Envious local neds? Recent road altracation? Feel for you mate.
  6. Strange way of talking about your boyfriend!
  7. frigging lucky your getting both , down here we've got he-haw!
  8. HT Auto's spitters seem to be a bit more tougher to the day to day scrimps and scrapes. Local couple dogging it at the layby (sorry different topic.just read front splitter) i found most distracting!
  9. Keep up, John!
  10. Happy to oblige Mike, that's a fine collection of cars. Enjoy the holiday festivities.
  11. Mark,........Wifey bought me the 'rally experience' a couple of years ago for a special birthday' . Felt totally cheated ........... that on my last run i made a point of f*cking ramming the car into a tyre wall' just to get my money's worth'....made me feel a whole lot better! My overriding memory....rip-off!
  12. It died about 3 weeks ago!!
  13. My old wagon , before it was sold and subsequently written off. R.I.P S668 YNO
  14. Jac, you've got one rear brake light out and only one rear light working when you put your lights on! Penalty points magnet! Tsk Tsk.
  15. I was up spectating for about 4 hours this afternoon, great entertainment! Your mates type r was going very well, felt a bit sorry for the blobeye owner who lost it on the last session and took some serious damage to his nearside front wheel. Great weather for a change, sorry didn't get any photos but maybe colin will be putting some up later. craig.
  16. how abstract a comment ! fishes!
  17. http://www.a-b-w.co.uk/ ht.autos worth trying these people first, immortal used to make kits including doors, but may be trading under another name, worth asking over on 22b.
  18. A saving is a saving when weight reduction's the name of the game, but polycarbonate 'windows' and fibreglass doors make a major weight saving. Will also make your wallet a lot lighter too!
  19. Have your numbers come up on the lottery! Nice one Cathy, track car?
  20. http://www.plastics4performance.com/LEXAN-...ws/c-1-288-489/ Rear screen would need to be permantly bonded in.(once the glass one has been cut out) Side-windows can be fixed in place with rivets & brackets.
  21. Extreme Motorsport 17B, Armadale Road, Whitburn, West Lothian. Tel: 01501 741 548 274bhp sounds about right.
  22. Jimmy, if my first experience of subaru was an expensive purchase followed by a catastrophic engine failure then i'd be feeling exactly the same as you. But i've had four of these cars and maybe it's down to luck, but i've only ever been let down once, due to a radiator hose bursting which you would admit can happen to any oldish vehicle. It's one of the reasons why i think there fairly easy to work on/fix if things need fixed.Parts are plentifull as opposed to EVO'S and probably cheaper part for part than BMW. Just my tuppence worth.
  23. And quite right too Rich! If you can afford it, why not push it a bit further. You were never serious about selling something that's got a heart and soul.
  24. P1's are notorious for engine failure but sling in a reliable rebuilt engine and you have a near perfect combination of style and performance. Subaru ownership is a funny old buisness, doesn't always make much sense, crap build quality, crap fuel econemy....BUT the SOUND of a tuned flat four boxer engine, sweet! Now you can talk about a 2 door bmw e46 with all the bells and whistles......leather blah de blah , reversing parking aids ,But it it will never have that soundtrack. Nicer looking? It's all a matter of taste/age but seriously, a bog standard e46 bmw ,even a 2 door coupe, against a P1/TYPE R ......SORRY NO CONTEST! craig.
  25. Gary, It was jimmygforce i was asking 'what was wrong with the P1?' The automatic gearbox would have put me off but as your good lady seems happy with that then all fine and dandy. Have AC Schnitzer stopped/gone out of buisness recently?
