Hi guys lookin for a set of gold brembos with discs and pads. How much should i be prepared to pay? and where from? also what other options do i have? How much could i sell my 55plate four pots for? the red ones with worn discs and pads and also a new set of pads? Cheers Greig

this may sound daft but been promised it will work. Take the pads out and turn them around. (if you know what i mean) So the inside one willturnaround and become the outside one and the outside one will become the inside one. Done it with my red stuff pads after i woke my nieghbour up lol he knows a thing or 2 and told me to do this and hey presto it worked. HTH Greiig let me know how you get on.

A was doing fine but and would have had it done but the way the guy has set the alarm up meant i would need to cut a wire and then rejoin it and didn`t have any electrical stuff. So left it at that ill stick it on when i get a chance these ten days off Big Baws. Wee Baws ooot

Could be wrong but im pretty sure you should NOT drive the car like this. I take it you mean the lil vacum pipe off the top of the dump valve? When you are driving the car is it making a wooshing noise all the time sounds like an air leak? I think if you do drive it like that on boost the ecu will go into safe mode. This is what iv been told about the newages anyway am guessing the classic are similar hth mate cheers greig

If you don`t want the hassle at mot time you need the sportcat but to be honset am sure a special garage could pass you with decat [] . You may not need a a top up map im just thinkin that if you change the system for different spec it will affect the back pressure and so your turbo spool up and boost and such like therefore a second map would sort the car to its optimum performance. am not the best tech mind here by a mile but hth mate and that someone wi better knowledge pipes up Greig

Scoobyworld Ninja sportscat downpipe for your car £299 cheepest you will get i think. then pick your center and backbox to suit your tastes. As for your map im not sure how it will affect it. Is the system on the car just now the standard 2.5" bore pipe or a "3 inch one? and is the downpipe open mouth? If its open mouth and 2.5 inch pipeing i wouldn`t think that the sportcat with centre and BB would affect your map too much as the sport cat is said to have lilttle effect on output compared to a decat. Cheers Greig opps cost was your question eh well £299 for sportcat form scoobyworld and £90-100 for Stainless steel center section and bout 220-260 for a BB unless you find a nice second hand one whick shouldn`t be too hard look on Snet for sale loads to be had and for £100-150 so all in. £500-700 depending on what you go for. Then the only other cost you may have is if you need a top up map for the car but they are alot cheaper im told if you already have the ecutek license i think i heard a figure of £190???

Done the front one tryin to do the back one the now got the seat out and the 12mm nuts off but how the hell do you get the ends of the strut bar on?do you need to take the seat belt tensioner off? Cheers Greig

My 55 plate wrx had this prob lem dealer changed them out under warrenty. Take it since yours i a lil older that it don`t have the extended warrenty therefore best bet is 2 new shocks on the rear think KYB are a popular choice for a similar shock to the stock stuff. other option is spend a bit and get a full set up done and have some fun or phone japperformanceparts they will sort you out with some standard stuff am sure. One other option is there is a guy on scoobynet selling his sti suspension looking for 300-350 i think and the back shocks are only 100 miles old as subaru replaced them that may be the cheapest option. You also have a pm bud as i myself may be able to help you. Cheers Greig
